Real dive bar with some damn good food! My husband and I got their cheesesteaks on more than one occasion during our visit to Philly. Great beer prices compared to a lot of other bars in the area. We will definitely return!

Great little gem we recently found! Always walked past thus place on our trips to the city but now it's a new favorite! Greeted by the friendliest bartender as we sat amongst some locals at the bar. Cheap beer and great cheesesteaks!
I like it a lot, the beer is always super cold and well served, and it is always possible to talk without shouting, it is my oasis.
The place was crowded yet the 2 bartenders were efficient and everyone got thier drinks. All the patrons were in a happy holiday mode.

Oscar's is definitely no frills. And that's great. Because it gives you what you want. You can duck in off the street to escape the intense cold, or unbearable heat. The hospitality is warm and the draft beer is always cold. And very reasonable for Center City Philly. A place where you'll find dudes

Fun dive bar! The service is excellent and after 4pm you can get one and a half cheesesteaks for the price of a whole. Prices are decent for Center City. The upholstery is totally ripped up from customers which made us laugh!

Great local dive bar feel. Not too far from main attractions so you don't have to venture far to get there, but far enough that it didn't seem to be packed with tourists. Mostly friendly staff the 2 nights my wife and I went.
