The Gleaner's Cafe Gallery - Philadelphia - Photo album

My husband and I love to come to Gleaner's Cafe to relax and talk. It is not the largest place in the world, but that's okay. It is small, intimate, and the decor has lots of personality :) And I love that this exists in the heart of the Italian Market. Unique coffee shops are kind of my hobby, and
the line was out the door and the people behind the counter managed to keep a level head and make our experience feel as if we were the only people inside. extremely quick and patient staff, coffee is very good as well. the woman who took our order that morning (sat 9/16) was a queen. can't wait to
Gleaners has such a great vibe, just walking through the door makes me happy. Love the location, the atmosphere, the coffee, food, and most of all the people. They are very welcoming. And if you're in need of some South Philly authenticity, this is the place to be.
My new favorite coffee spot! I ordered one of the specials and I wasn’t disappointed; Half coffee half hot chocolate! What made my experience even more brighter, was the beautiful ladies and their bright attitudes! The art in the shop was so dope and different woman made the quilts on the wall! I wi
Lovely owners, lovely shop. Our first time there, but they were addressing multiple regular customers by name and preparing their “regular.” Hard to find a place like this anymore! Delicious innovative drinks- yum!
i’ve never had bad coffee from gleaners! the workers are always so charming and exceptionally kind. they’re one of the few coffee shops in the area that serve vegan cream cheese. they even give you a hershey kiss with every purchase—how sweet!
Amazing customer service. Extremely nice and knowledgeable about the area, felt very welcomed during my first visit. They even put a cute stocking sticker on my cup before giving it to me. The little things matter and Gleaners is doing all of them exceptionally well. Highly highly recommend.
Friendly service in a quaint 9th St. cafe next to Italian restaurants.
Gleaner's famed egg sandwich -- the Painkiller -- resembles Hawai'i in this way; people give it a try, and then they never try anything else. It's that good. Gleaner's has a size-able menu, but I've only ever tried the Painkiller. Their secret? Most say the homemade ketchup. But the cheese is awfull
Super friendly staff, they always make me happy!! Coffee is great!! No wifi, but cozy atmosphere!!
