Phenomenal! I love Szechuan food and went to quite a few restaurants. I must say Han Dynasty was Phenomenal. We ordered Dan Dan Noodle and Dry Pot Style beef. Every was better than my expectation. I could tolerate more spice and other than that I'm quite satisfied with the visit. I highly recommend this place to my friends.
This time around the food was not the same. Everything everything was over cooked. It was very disappointing. We brought special guest to show them the same great experienced we has last time and it was simply disappointing. It can’t be the same cook this time.
We are vegetarians and had planned to go to another restaurant but that one had a super long wait, so we ended up here. Loved it. We'd go often if it were close to us. We had the cold sesame noodles, the scallion pancake, and the Kung Pao Style Tofu. This was enough for our family of two adults and two toddlers. Hopefully we can go back sometime soon. I want to try their eggplant with garlic sauce. Reminded me of food I had when I was in China. The person who served us was super friendly.
I can’t say enough about Han Dynasty in Manayunk. First the staff is wonderful; they are friendly, warm, and take the time to explain the dishes. The atmosphere is modern and comfortable. Lastly the food is delicious. The balance of flavor is impeccable and they have really honed their flavor profiles. I cannot recommend enough.
Really good takeout! I would say the location in old city is slightly better. Will definitely be back though. They’re not currently open for dine in, but still taking takeout/delivery orders. The spicy cucumbers were really tasty!

Most of the time is a lot and very basic.
My fiance, who is a good and travel writer, suggested to pay Han" a visit"....
At my age, 57, eaten a lot , tasting different levels and active in kitchens for 30+years , I have to humbly bow my head and put them on a devided first place of Chinese food I ever had...
Very, very nice.... well spiced, very nice prepared.... really woooooooooow...
Loved it.....
And being there with the love of my life made it complete....
This is life worth living...

This is my second time in hand dynasty. Last time I went to a different location and it was super delicious. Tried something else today, I ordered Rice Noodles with chicken, not good as I thought and only one star for this dish, I also understood I don’t like rice Noodles 😟 Hopefully I will try something good next time.
From today, I decided to add Item name, price and how good it was for me, along with the photo of the dish and I hope it would be more helpful for people. Sometimes when I read reviews and look for photos, some dishes looks super delicious 😋 and I want to try it so badly but I don’t know the name and have to search through the entire menu or ask the restaurant by showing them the photo I have to find out the name, I find it a bit difficult myself. So this time, I decided to give a little bit more information😀

Ordered the black bean chicken. Reminded me of an authentic and since closed place I used to go to on Mott St (20 yrs ago) in NYC. Highly recommend if you want to know what authentic black bean chicken should taste like. I will be making this place routine for takeout. Incredible.
Highly recommend! For all Chinese and American. I feel so surprised that I could find a perfect Chinese restaurant like this. Even better a lot than any restaurant in New York! Very delicious! You should try!
Nice little place with great service and fantastic food. The cucumbers in garlic oil are one of the best things I've ever had and the Dan Dan noodles are fantastic. Totally worth the PITA parking
Good food that's authentic. Place can be noisy. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Some of the best Dan-Dan noodles dishes around. The pictures are the seafood tofu soup (after we'd eaten some, the bowl arrived full) and the hot sauce style chicken.
You pick the style you want and the protein & spice level. Also reasonable vegetarian choices, too. Check the menu picture to get some idea.
