Han Dynasty

We are vegetarians and had planned to go to another restaurant but that one had a super long wait, so we ended up here. Loved it. We'd go often if it were close to us. We had the cold sesame noodles, the scallion pancake, and the Kung Pao Style Tofu. This was enough for our family of two adults and two toddlers. Hopefully we can go back sometime soon. I want to try their eggplant with garlic sauce. Reminded me of food I had when I was in China. The person who served us was super friendly.

Since we had a large group, we got the nice round table where the center turns for great sharing of the food. The family style was nice and plenty to share with our party of 8. We ordered appetizers first, my favorite was the cucumber. At the entre ordering I asked for less spicy because round one was hot. The peppered tofu was fabulous. Although the less spicy was still spicy and we asked for mild. The green beans and bok choy and mushrooms were delicious vegetable sides. I would definitely go back and try more.

Phenomenal! I love Szechuan food and went to quite a few restaurants. I must say Han Dynasty was Phenomenal. We ordered Dan Dan Noodle and Dry Pot Style beef. Every was better than my expectation. I could tolerate more spice and other than that I'm quite satisfied with the visit. I highly recommend this place to my friends. This time around the food was not the same. Everything everything was over cooked. It was very disappointing. We brought special guest to show them the same great experienced we has last time and it was simply disappointing. It can’t be the same cook this time.

I can’t say enough about Han Dynasty in Manayunk. First the staff is wonderful; they are friendly, warm, and take the time to explain the dishes. The atmosphere is modern and comfortable. Lastly the food is delicious. The balance of flavor is impeccable and they have really honed their flavor profiles. I cannot recommend enough.

Hiii there.... Being a European citizen, makes me look at Chinese food at a certain way... Most of the time is a lot and very basic. My fiance, who is a good and travel writer, suggested to pay Han" a visit".... At my age, 57, eaten a lot , tasting different levels and active in kitchens for 30+years , I have to humbly bow my head and put them on a devided first place of Chinese food I ever had... Very, very nice.... well spiced, very nice prepared.... really woooooooooow... Loved it..... And being there with the love of my life made it complete.... This is life worth living... Thanks Han...
