Cheu Fishtown - Philadelphia - Photo album

Happy hour was a good bang for your buck. Dumplings were so yummy! our amazing server, Jules, ROCKED. Fun personality, very helpful and attentive! The rest of the staff was equally helpful and kind :) great date night spot!
Cheu has the best ramen bowls I have ever had. All of their food is great. I love how you can get sushi from next door. Awesome seasonal drinks & the atmosphere is fun. I highly recommend!! If you dont try you are really missing you!
This ramen was really good on first try, definitely want to go back for more. What was great about this place is the food literally came out in 3 minutes. The menu is kind of small but I’m sure that means the dishes are better prepared? I’ll update this when I go back to confirm. I got brisket ramen
What a cool place! Great food and service that makes you feel like the most important guests in the restaurant. Can't wait for my next visit in Philly! My lucky brother and his wife can visit every day... ;)
I am hard to impress and I really like the coconut curry ramen.
Got the coconut curry noodles with a side of kimchi. Had the shiso famous cocktail which was amazing! Loved the setting really chill vibes, server was friendly. Will be back
I went to Cheu specifically for their Toki whisky highball machine! I've heard about them, and love a good highball. They served four different variations, I had two, and tasted a third my son got. Wonderfully brisk and refreshing, flashy carbonation. We didn't get food, we were headed elsewhere, bu
The service was outstanding, even on a packed valentine's day I was really impressed with the attentiveness. The ambiance was cool, although the music was extremely loud, and the tight seating was far for a romantic vibe. The stars of the meal were the charred scallion Rangoon's, and sauteed noodle
Wow, the food was wonderful. Got there right around 6 with 30 minutes left of happy hour, so we got to have apps and cocktails for a great price. The waitress comes by right before 6:30 to see if you want more from the happy hour menu before or ends, which is nice. Also got the steamed pork buns, wh
Nice food. All fresh and well prepared. I had dumplings and ramen, cake for dessert. Nuts accompanying dumplings is a highlight, super addictive and I’d eat more of them. The cake was a sponge cake (pumpkin latte cake) which I didn’t expect and didn’t like too much.
One of my favorite restaurants, especially for an elevated take out!! A splurge but worth it - and mainly a splurge because my fiancé and I get 4 appetizers every time so that’s really our fault. 😂 Love that they keep their menu updated, rotating flavors but keeping their winning formula the same. P
So delicious. We came here at 1630 right as they opened and there were already 4 people ahead of us. We ordered the pork belly, cucumber salad, and ramen. Everything was delicious. The pork belly was savory and filly, so was the ramen. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks too!
This place was so adorable. I love the location, in and out. The food is good, nothing bad, just not the most flavorful ramen I've ever had; I had the brisket ramen and while the brisket fell apart it had no flavor and the broth wasn't really amazing. Ramen broth should reach up and punch you in the
Nice spot, Went there last night. Their was a 45 minute wait time. Rangoons and black Pepper wings were great. The ramen was good a little bland I had to add salt, hot oil and hot sauce to add some flavor to it. The water was given to us warm and I had to ask for ice.
I had really high expectations for Cheu due to going to the center city one quite frequently. It's good but the 10th Street location is better, the brisket ramen seems to have more flavor. I felt the broth was pretty basic during my visit. I don't think I'd go to Fishtown specifically for ramen as t
I love it here so much. I come weekly. Sad about the split with nunu. Makes less seating. But the new napa cabbage salad is really just perfect for me and my avocado allergy, it was such a nice portion size and beyond delicious. Love the matzah ball brisket soup!
