A gem. The broth of both soups were so well developed and soothing. Wish they had a more noodles but that could have just been a wish. The potions, taste, service, environment, all of it worked well. Best scallion pancakes in Chinatown and the Taiwanese fried chicken was better than all the place
A gem within easy walking distance of the PA convention center, but far enough into Chinatown you can walk in for a weekend meal without an excessive wait. The nan xiang soup dumplings (pork) are delicious; so are the pan fried version. Fair prices, good portions, and good food. I was impressed how
Visited here with my friend. Honestly with our Taiwanese pallet, the beef noodle soup was severely lacking flavour ... and mapo tofu did not look nor taste like mapo tofu... Possibly the dishes better fits the pallet of nan zhou (the area of origin)? But the service was truly amazing and everyone w
Not sure if this was a turnkey business with a new owner, but the food was delicious. We ordered the Taiwanese noodles, braised pork rice, and marinated beef tripe. The owner was very nice and caring as well so that made the experience so much better.
Small restaurant in the heart of Chinatown with decent menu. A good selection of Pho inspired noodle dishes with a variety of options. The best or the hand-drawn noodles which are spectacular and fresh tasting. The soup dumplings are not the best I had but are still pretty tasty. The scaling panca
4.5 stars. The food was pretty good. The noodles had a weird texture, but my wife said that's common with the type of noodles. The vegetables in the food were fresh.
The hand-drawn noodles were great! I had stir-fried, and my ladies had the sliced beef soup with hand-drawn noodles. They asked on our way in if we wanted iced water or hot tea. I asked for hot tea, and when I got it it was room temperature. I asked if I could get it hotter and the waitress took our
Overall, it’s not a bad place for dim sum. Service was fast and they have a large menu. Most of the dishes were tasty. My favorite was their soup dumplings. They were delicious! My biggest complaint is the lack of sauce for everything. The flavors are great, but it needs an extra something to make i
Very comparable to Nan Zhou, with a few minor details. The noodles are delicious, a little more "doughy" than Nan Zhou. The chili oil was definitely better (spicier, with a big peppercorn kick and more sesame seeds) at Heng Feng though, and their takeout packaging is better too. Might be my new take
The fried rice with pork was the best of the ones we ask for. The fried chicken is good for kids. Good price and there wasn’t a lot of people so it was very quiet. We were 7 people and we had a check of $81
New opening with nice atmosphere and good service. Food is pretty decent, but I still prefer Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodles
Really great dim sum! Would recommend the soup dumplings, fried chicken, scallion pancakes, and fried dumplings. Super super affordable price too.
The hand drawn noodles are wonderful. I got a stir fry and some soup dumplings. The staff is very courteous and respectful to all.
What can I say the food was Amazing! We walked in with a group of 15. We were able to sit immediately. All of our food came out very timely, and the staff were so attentive that they didn’t have to ask where a single dish belong on the table. I can’t wait to come back to this place.
I ordered the Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings and the Crabmeat steamed Soup Dumplings, both were delicious! The service was fast and friendly, the dumplings came out steaming. The Dim Sum menu is limited in selection, but well worth a visit!!! I’ll be back for sure!
Literally stared at the wall and went in w/o prior research. What a pleasant surprise! The soup dumplings were authentic. I come from CA and Din Tai Fung is way overpriced. We also had some veggies and noodles that were equally good. Will be back when in the area again
This place has really good dim sum. They do have a $15 minimum so I ended up ordering 3 different dishes. I started off with the beef scallion pancakes and was impressed. Next off, I had the soup dumplings - which were good too. Quite honestly these were my first ever soup dumplings, so I have no f
