Service is quick but food is not good. My wife and I order two separate noodle but both tasted like instant noodle. My bun bo hue was not spicy and has a strong pork odor. The seafood Tom yum flavor contain mostly cheap imitation crab meat. If you are hungry, do yourself a favor and skip this spot.
It was a nice restaurant with good selection of food. Our team had a great time. Servers were very nice and polite. A good restaurant in Chinatown.
Found this place while driving by. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is delicious. I definitely liked how our server took it upon herself to tell us what to eat! Ha! I’m glad she did because the food and drinks we got were beyond anything we expected, in a very good way! Can’t wai
This place was so great! Quality of the food was great, and the portions were bigger than expected on the pho even though I didn't order the largest size. I didn't move at all - it was delicious, and our server happily packed it up for me to go. Love how lively it was inside - you can tell there ar
Huge portions and very tasty. Pho and Seafood soup with egg noodles is what we got and no regrets. Chopsticks used as a reference for size, every asian will know the size of these chopsticks.
Amazing authentic viet/thai food for only 40 dollars!! Massive portions. The waiter is so friendly and helpful!! Best asian food I had in philly so far ❤️ will def come back for sure
A good Vietnamese restaurant in Philadelphia. The portion is big, the place is relatively clean, there are a variety of dishes, like noodles, rice, meat, salad. Every time I go to Philadelphia, I try this restaurant. The summer rolls are delicious and I am satisfied with the food. There are hand san
Ordered the 106. pho and the Tom Yum soup. Food came extremely fast! The pho had a flavorful savory broth but not a good variety of promised meats. Paired well with the chili oil sauce on the table though. The Tom Yum soup was not as rich as it could be, wouldn’t recommend ordering it.
Whenever I'm visiting a new place I always try out a pho restaurant with Bún bò Huế. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have blood jelly even though on their menu they had a photo of Bún bò Huế with blood jelly in it. They give a lot of noodles and a decent amount of meat, but not much garnish.
Good, not great food veggie food. Ordered the veggie pho (118) and the mixed veggies in clay pot (618). Both were pleasant but relatively plain flavored. Service was nice and the meal came quickly, but the food wasn't anything spectacular.
“The place with the train”. Pho is great - fresh garnishes and clean broth. Good slices of meat.
The OG Vietnamese restaurant in Philly. I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Soup is the perfect balance of flavorful but not too salty. Price is great too.
The pho was delicious! The Thai and Vietnamese iced coffee was on a different level of flavor. 10/10 experience! Very quick service.
Pho Xe Lua, also known by its frequent patrons as ‘Choo Choos’ (take notice of the neon choo choo train on the front window), is a staple restaurant in Philadelphia’s Chinatown. They serve a large menu of Vietnamese and Thai dishes in a relaxed, casual setting. Don’t let the storefront or interior f
I come here all the time for pho. It is delicious and the portion sizes are good! Prices are also very reasonable. The service is fast and attentive. This is the spot to go for pho if you’re in Chinatown.
Very good clean authentic food in China town area of Phili. Shrimp pho was flavorful and fresh, huge portion big enough for 2, so I had leftover that I heated for lunch the next day. No shortage of good food in Phili but I definitely recommend this place and would return if I ever get the chance.
Wonderful joint! Great prices and delicious food. I got the special bun because of the summery heat. Delightful! I got the Rainbow Ice drink and it was soooooooooo good. I had been trying to find a place that had this type of treat 🤤
