A very authentic Vietnamese place with great food. We started off some complimentary tea that was nice touch on such a cold day. Then got some of the best spring rolls I’ve had; cooked to perfection.
It was tough to pick what to get with such an expansive menu but both pho dishes I tried were fresh and tasty. They offer a lot of vegetarian options as well.
A good place to try if you’re in the area.

Great soup - the broth is phenomenal. Service is fast and, for what it is, the atmosphere is outstanding.
The small cafeteria like seating area fills up in minutes and turns over fast. There’s a constant energy. Hit great for breakfast on a cold rainy day.

I’m an out of towner, went here for the first time got #190 pork chops on the bone. It was great! The tea was awesome! Who doesn’t love Vietnamese iced coffee? FYI, ask for less ice, I finished mine in like 2 min. Everyone is friendly and nice! Hope to return soon.

Broken rice combo with sherreded pork, char broiled pork, quiche, omelet with a grilled chicken add-on was amazing!

It’s a good value place for Asian food, but the atmosphere is very dated. Honestly, though any time we can have soft shell crabs and they good? It’s worth a visit!

Went here for lunch. I thought the restaurant’s decor was nice and clean. Food was really good. And to top it off the service was great. Will come here again especially for the steak pho.

Like midnight diner, if they have it, they make it!love their stir fried eggplant + protein options and whole fried fish! Great soft shell crab too. Crispy Vietnamese crepes with crunch bean sprout.

I been to this place few times. I like their veggie pho with beef broth, they add all mix veggies and tofu in it. Broth are usually fresh and tasty. They have nice veggie summer rolls and fried spring rolls too. This place provide hot tea during winter-days. Service is average but food prices are reasonable. Restaurant is spacious and there are bunch other pho places next door but this is nicer place for dine in compare to them.

Great Vietnamese in Philadelphia! The restaurant gets busy but it’s a big space and the service is good. We started with a papaya salad (not too sweet), then ate a chicken curry coconut dish and tofu mixed vegetable egg noodles. All dishes were of high quality.

1st off I had my vaccine card out but they never asked for it or looked which disturbed me considering it is the current regulation in Philadelphia.
2nd we ordered a lot of food, so the price point per person reflects the quantity of food my friend & I ordered (with extra for her to take home in addition to the numerous leftovers from what we did eat).
3rd The staff was attentive and immediately brought and accommodated whatever we asked for.
4th This was one of only 2 places open during the day & time we went. It was my first time visiting this particular Vietnamese restaurant, and though it was good, it's not my preferred spot to visit in that complex.
5. We ordered 2 appetizers that were tasty and I would order them again. My friend's Phó was good (per her statement) but she added extra fat and sauces to customize the broth to her liking (for anyone new to the meal, this is an entirely normal thing to do). My Special (Curry Duck Soup) had a nice spice bite for the broth but very little meat and what was in it was unfortunately dry in texture. However I would order just the broth with ramen noodles any day.
I would eat here again if it were the only place open like it had been that night--of course after we try the other place that was open and figure out which is the better of the two. Its not bad, but it did not "wow" me.
6. Added bonus is that they do have a bar in the restaurant. So you can have a cocktail if you'd like.

Best Vietnamese restaurant with authentic food and dessert. I love spicy noodle soup and pho. Excellent taste with reasonable price.

Always try to make a stop here when back in Philly, they're one of the few places that still serve Hu Tieu My Tho (clear rice noodle soup with shrimp, squid and pork). Their Bo Luc Lac (country style beef cubes) is tasty, the salt that comes is for dipping. For starters their shrimp and pork summer rolls are fresh and then for lunch their house special rice vermicelli is tasty or really any of the rice vermicellis. Top everything off with Vietnamese iced coffee or young coconut juice and you're all set.

Always good. Six people today and six happy people. Try the beef cubes and the pork ribs. Both really good.

I've been dining at Nam Phuong for over 15 yrs. It's had its ups and downs as any restaurant does, but the food has always remained tasty! IMO they still have one of the best Spring Rolls and Pork Vermicelli in the city. Better than any place you'll find in Chinatown. The seafood soup is also fabulous. I've never had a bad meal here, but I will admit better Pho can be had elsewhere. The dining room is nicer than average but while the servers are friendly, service is minimalistic. Definitely a must try for lovers of Vietnamese food.

One of my go to Vietnamese spots to hit outside of Chinatown. Right on Washington Ave which has no shortage of Vietnamese restaurants but finding a good one is not nearly as easy. At Nam Phuong they have a nice variety of menu items and they make sure they have all the main staples. Their Pho is delicious, their Vietnamese iced coffee is one of the best I’ve ever had and their summer rolls are heavenly
