Cucina Forte - Philadelphia - Photo album

What a great place to eat at. Their food was so excellent if I could give 6 stars we would. Everything was well made, fresh, good size portions and even homemade pasta! Just so delish, beautiful presentation too. We will definitely come again. Add this restaurant to your next visit to Philly.
A quiet and sweet place. We had the steamed mussels, shrimp & arugula salad and the scaccetti (dumpling pasta stuffed with fontina cheese & prosciutto) topped with a meat sauce. Finished our meal with tiramisu. The shrimp in the salad was perfectly grilled and we loved the marinara sauce that the mu
A scene taken out of the god father, the sauce does not disrespect you! Authentic and amazing Italian, you can tell the pasta is homemade. The seafood is super fresh and that sauce…… Just put it on everything! The pasta is superb, all the seafood was amazing, the bread is super fresh and soaks the j
Came here on the StrEats of Philly food tour and so glad that they introduced us to this place. The spinach gnocchi with blush sauce is the best gnocchi I have ever had. I can't put it into words but you MUST order the gnocchi. This place is BYOB so our group enjoyed a few bottles of red wine we bro
My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner at Cucina Maria. We had about 25 guests and filled the space nicely. It's a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant but the food is delicious. The owner was very flexible with menu options and happily accommodated our requests. She also gave some recommendations of h
I had an amazing lunch here with my family. I had mixed homemade ricotta, spinach, and sweet potato gnocchi, which was tasty, and the gorgonzola sauce was incredibly good. My toddler loved the gnocchi too, as well as the cheese ravioli from the kids menu. Everyone loved their food, and the lunch por
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The decor is a bit outdated but it makes up for it in excellent service and delicious food. The bread was fluffy and was a great pairing with the marinara sauce and parmesan - I recommend you try it.
The food is Fresh and Excellent!! The Chef and Owner, Juana emerged from the kitchen to share the details of the Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer which was the highlight of an appetizer which also includes prosciutto, olives, chunks of provolone among other italian items. Juana was very nice!! Our dinne
Owner has a beautiful inspiring story behind the restaurant. Everything is homemade ( even the bread ) with love & you can taste it! My new fav Italian restaurant!
I came here for lunch with my fiancé and it was absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the food and service. The lobster ravioli was probably one of the best pasta dishes I have EVER had. We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends and family.
Went with a group of colleagues for a work lunch. I had the spinach gnocchi which was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food. The desserts were pretty good too (we tried a bit of everything). They have a nice lunch menu with some regular dishes for half the price. The service was excellent and pers
As devoted fans of Cucina Forte, we were delighted that the previous owner and chef partnered to create Cucina Maria in the same location. The warm, attentive service and delicious food are still in abundance. As a party of 5, we sampled the menu from appetizers to desserts and we savored every item
What a true gem in Bella Vista, which abounds in Italian food options: the service is very attentive, the food truly yummy and approachable, and the ambiance intimate and unpretentious. My wife and I enjoyed many meals here over the past couple of weeks.
Very happy to find a great spot in the neighborhood. The gravy (sauce) was simple and delicate and all of the ingredients were fresh. There was a farm-to-table-esq feel, especially with the house made pasta and bread. We had an appetizer, 2 entrees and desert for under $100. I took half of my entree
Amazing gnocchi and best marinara sauce I’ve ever had. Lobster ravioli was amazing. Waiter was so nice and very attentive. Ricotta cheesecake for dessert was unreal
We stopped in for Sunday lunch at this charming BYOB and had a wonderful experience. The friendly owner, Juana, both served and cooked our meal. After enjoying some complimentary bread with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, we had salads piled high with fresh greens and a flavorful balsamic vinaigrett
PAST-TA PEPPER PLEASE 😂 Sharing this gem that was featured in @phillyinquirer from the last east coast trip, in . We had the best time walking around South Philly and bumping into Cucina Maria, a gem of a family-owned spot. It's really rare that we see ANYTHING 4.9 ⭐ on Google so we had to explore
Was so happy we found this place! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was wonderful. The prices were amazingly reasonable, wish we lived in the area because we would definitely be regulars but will absolutely dine there again when we visit Philly.
