The last time I tried to visit Mac's Tavern on a surprise trip it was closed due to COVID (not salmonella as you might assume). This time I was a bit luckier and I was able to try 'Mac's Fries'. It was over the top delicious. Well worth the wait.

Came here yesterday. The bartender was very friendly and nice. The food was amazing. Got the red and white cutlet and it was amazing. The bartender was the only one working and she was taking care of everyone so we waited a little to get our check but she was doing a great job. Would come again!

Stopped in at Macs to check it out while in town for a visit. Nice bar, small place so I’m sure it gets packed quickly. We went late afternoon and it was filling up. Nice beer selection including a bunch from 2SP brewing on tap. Thats a local brewery in Aston PA. Didn’t eat so can’t comment on food

We came over from Liverpool, UK as we were fans of the show, from start to finish we had a fantastic evening, had a couple beers and cocktails, the bartender (in picture) was great and had us laughing before we'd even got into the bar. A must stop whilst in Philly, can't wait to come back
We came into town from Seattle and had to check out this gem of a bar. We met Chris & Erica working the packed bar and they could not have been nicer, more hard working, cooler or more helpful. They were great bartenders but even cooler people. We love this place and highly recommend it to anyone!!
Awesome ambiance and atmosphere! As a huge fan of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, it was really cool to have a drink here. I did not have any food but drink price was reasonable and had to get a t-shirt. My best opportunity to live vicariously through the gang!
Christian is somehow both delicate and abrasive in all the right ways. My wife and I came down for our 5 year anniversary tonight and he somehow made us feel delightfully on edge as well as terrifyingly warm and secure all at the same time. I've never experienced anything like it before in my life.
I have to give this place a 5 stars.
