Wonderful local beer selection, first-rate food, unbeatable environment. One of the best gastropubs in all of the United States.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff and a very interesting selection of beer. Overall, a great place. Will definitely eat here again.
I saw Standard Tap on Diners, Drive In’s and Dives and HAD to check it out!! It doesn’t disappoints I had the infamous Chicken Pie and my significant other had the braised brisket and both were amazing, beautifully plated and just all around outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive! We will be returning!!
Helpful waiter, excellent recommendations on beer and every dish we had was excellent: Chicken Pie, oysters and smelts.
Outstanding beer selection, nice dark wooden space, raw bar was excellent. Worth the trip from western suburbs, will positively be back.
I hosted a lunch for 5 ladies and the waitress was awesome, the food was great and will definitely be back soon.
The Standard Tap is a terrific restaurant. Their varieties of beer are great and the food is always wonderful. We have been there may times and have never been disappointed.
Spiced pear hotcakes were to die for and the brews speak for themselves! Always the best!

Went for brunch around 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday. It was the perfect place to head to after a brewery tour at Yards. Excellent and interesting food, great beer and a pleasant atmosphere.
Been here various times for food or casual drinking. Tried the brunch for the first time today. We always have a great experience!! Food and drinks are amazing
Overall I'd probably come here as just a pub, less for the food. The brisket sandwich was good, as was the fish and chips, but the chicken pot pie was a bit confusing, mushy, and bland. Cocktails were made nicely.
I've been a big fan of Standard Tap for a LONG TIME! I lived in No Libs for 10 years and now Fishtown for 5 and this is still one of my favorite spots to grab a burger and a beer. Cheers to Will and the crew for keeping this place consistent for such a long time.
Great happy hour specials! $4 select drafts and $6 select small bites.
I had the venison and potatoes (not on the happy hour) and it was delicious
Not only was this too beautiful but the salad was bombing!! This is a chicken pot pie! With a salad underneath! I'm not big on salads but I couldn't stop eating it!!! The server was so sweet!!! My first time at brunch! I came back for dinner and got a burger! This place hands down the best!
Food was fantastic with the wings being the high point. Crispy salty chicken skin with a fresh jalapeno relish🙏. Claudia- phenomenal skills behind the bar with food suggestions that won't steer you wrong. Will be back
One of our favorite bars in the city, but it’s much more than just a bar. All menus, food and beverages, are posted on chalkboards as they rotate regularly. There are a few food staples, like the chicken pot pie and mussels, however the variety is appreciated.
Beer selection focuses on PA breweries and always features a mix of styles. The food menu brings unique, bold flavors (we had squid toast and pork confit) small plate style. Atmosphere is always warm and inviting, especially on the patio, and we’ve always had great service.
Amazing time here! The food was delicious, my husband and I went for Northern Liberties restaurant week and I can't wait to return! The drinks were great and wonderful selection! We sat on the porch outdoors and it was so relaxing , I highly recommend 👌
This place was recommended by 4 friends of all ages and I can see why! The food was incredible for a good price and the beer selection has all the local favs plus more! Simple favs like burgers or veggie sandwiches (what we ordered) to fancier dinners for 2! Also got a massive oyster and the server said “Good luck getting that down your gullet” which my partner and I quote daily. Can’t beat personality like that!
I had a fairly good dining experience here. When we arrived, we asked to be seated on the patio and were told it would be a 20 minute wait, we weren't seated until 40 minutes after that, and that wasn't until I actually got up and said something to one of the workers there. Despite all of that the staff were apologetic and very kind and the food is on point!!! Everything is so delicious and they have a great list of specialty cocktails, and if you go here you must order dessert
Upon walking in to this charming neighborhood bar you will get the local vibe which is always comforting. The crowd is a nice mix of couples and groups of friends grabbing food and drinks. My favorite part was how unique the layout of the bar was, it is multiple levels and the seating is cute plus balcony seating for warmer days, plus the bar is decorated in a very appealing way. The best part is the menu! The food is phenomenal we had the brussel sprouts, the pureed ground vegetable soup, and the cauliflower dish and they packed a great flavor and felt healthy and light. The waitress was very friendly and came around often on a crowded Friday night. They do take reservations which I would recommend , but walking in didn't pose a problem we were seated right away. My only complaint is the menu is on a chalkboard by the bar and on the wall by one of the dinning areas which makes it hard to see when the lighting is dim, we didn't get menus and we were sitting by the downstairs bar. We also had a flight and tried yummy beer and cider at a great price. This place is solid for a night out in Philly on a date or with friends and trying to stay low key.
Chris and Brian are both awesome bartenders, full of energy, and great service! I absolutely love the food and the variety of options. When bringing my sister to Philly this was the place I knew I needed to take her because it's a comfortable place and lots of fun! My boyfriend and I go almost weekly because we love how welcome everyone is and how much fun we always have here! I always recommend Standard Tap to friends and family visiting the area!
This was a great place for brunch! Everything on the menu changes and the food is super great and full of flavor! Plus the staff was kind, warm and very knowledgeable but super down to earth. If u r in the area, this is a must go! Don't miss the disco ball. We got the lamb and creme brulee and brownie sundae. Delish! We found this place only because it was on Diners, Dives and Drive-ins. We will be going back!
In the 90's this was the place. Pretty much everyone in the local Psychedelphia music scene hung out here. Had the best jukebox (still good.) Shows, etc. Still a decent place, but a lot has change in the 25+ years since around the city.
The burger was tasty! Good patty! Drinks were delicious and the little roof deck is perfect on a nice day. Worth the stop in!
