We had made reservations for two ppl on a Sunday night around 6:45pm in Philadelphia to try this place out for my birthday. There are plenty of parking garages nearby to pay for parking 🅿️ was $33. It did not appear too busy when we arrived and we were immediately seated. Our server, Pat, was amicable and appreciated his vegetarian suggestions for my friend. She went with a quesadilla and I got the Max Brenner Burger medium rare. Have to say that was definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had and perfectly cooked to my taste. We started off with drinks. I was dying to try their chocolate martini with dark chocolate and it was smooth and delicious! An absolute must have! My friend got their peanut butter hot chocolate beverage ☕ with whip cream and enjoyed it. For dessert we couldn't decide so we opted for the Celebration Waffle Combo for a choice of 3 different kinds of waffles. We had the Chocolate Chunks Waffle, the Strawberry waffle, and the Banana Split Waffle 🧇. They were all pretty good, but our favorite was the banana one that tasted best. However, we did not particularly like the white chocolate chunks that were in the other two waffles. Overall we enjoyed our experience there and would love to try their other desserts and drinks. You can even buy some cute chocolate treats in their little shop front when you first walk into the restaurant. Sweet!!!
We went after the Philly Auto Show and had reservations. 4 adults and 2 kids and everything was amazing. They handled my daughter spilling water like a champ, the waiter was friendly and attentive. But most of all the food was amazing! Save room for dessert! Yummm. My burger was perfect, but definitely my favorite was my hot chocolate…I got the Italian thick and it was creamy perfection. My son got the Oreo hot chocolate and it was just too sweet for him, almost like the Oreo filling was melted and cookie pieces added.
Listen, I read the reviews and was a bit nervous about going. But my family went anyway and the food and service was phenomenal!!! Even the manager came to check on us and made a dessert suggestion (we were getting tge fondue anyway 😋). Definitely coming back!
Smaller and less busy than expected, but everything was delicious. I originally had trouble getting a reservation as everything was booked. As the time got closer, a time slot popped up. But in the restaurant, there were 2 tables right next to us that remained open our entire visit. Kids loved it. Kid meals are pretty close to adult sized meals. Fondue was probably not worth the price for what you got, but the experience was.
Yummilicious! This is my idea of heaven - a restaurant with a million different chocolate options! Service was great and the atmosphere is old-timey diner style. The only this is the bathrooms weren’t very clean and the music was loud disco-pop and really didn’t match the vibe. Jazz or classical music would have made the place feel really classy, you know?
The most amazing smell of really good chocolate almost knocks you over the second you step in the door. We made reservations, and they were on top of it. We were seated almost immediately. We had an appetizer, onion rings with a chocolate ranch dipping sauce. The onion rings were extremely fresh, had to have been made in house, and were excellent. Then we had our main courses which were excellent as well. I had a steak and potatoes. It was one of the best steaks I've had in a very long time. After that came the desserts, the main reason for visiting really. The kid had one of the best milkshakes I've ever tasted. We got a sundae, and also the churros with fondue. Everything was amazing! I highly recommend this place! It really wasn't super expensive either. For 4 people with appetizers, meals and desserts our bill was around $150. Not bad for a nice place with great, attentive staff, and amazing food! If you have a chance, give it a try!
The ice cream was quite big and tastes so yummy. There were two side small plates around the big cup. One was additional sweetener cream and the oher one was whipped cream. I also liked the waffle fries. The service was quick, and the waiters were very nice. It was not inexpensive, but it was worth it. I will definitely come back again for the chocolate ice cream, and for the tasty sirloin burgers.
I was so excited to try this restaurant!
Here's what I can say the service was good my waitress was very helpful.
The actual waffle sandwich I ordered looked beautiful in presentation but the chicken was dried out. The waffle fries and aioli sauce was definitely delicious! Would I pay 16.00 for a sandwich again nope. However the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue was amazing and all the desserts we're fantastic!!
Enjoyed dinner, drinks AND dessert! Mac and cheese burger was amazing! Artichoke spinach dip was delicious. Surprisingly, everyone REALLY enjoyed the thrice baked chicken wings - give them a try! And for dessert.... shareable fondue! 😋😋😋 the best part for me..... the Affogato!! Holy cow- really excellent double shot of espresso, ice cream and drinkable chocolate- I cannot recommend this more! To top it all off - Ryan was a fantastic server 😊
Went here on Mother’s Day by myself and had a great time…I planned on just reading and enjoying my company…I sat at the bar and Jacob and Parker were thee best!…some negative reviews I read had me skeptical but the staff was efficient and they all seemed to have good energy…I would definitely return
Absolutely worth the try! Only downsides, drinks were OVERLY strong. Usually I’d appreciate a heavy pour, but we were unable to even taste the chocolate or flavors in our drinks due to how strong they were. Only took a few sips before it became unenjoyable. Food was great, as well as our server. We did sit there for about 25 minutes before anyone even came to our table to take our order, even though only three other tables were filled beside us. A bit pricey but worth it. I would return again if wait time for service wasn’t so bad!

Me and my kids love this restaurant. Such a gem in downtown Philly. Definitely kid friendly, plus delicious adult drinks. My kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows for dessert, I thought that was really cute.
This is the best place to take the chocolate lover in your life and still get some other good food. The selection is amazing and the service is fast. The chocolate martini is a great way to start things off and the fondue puts a great cap on the dinner. I would reccomend this to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Oh my goodness! A chocolate and then some. Their quesadilla is awesome and the mac-n-cheese was delicious. Your sweet tooth will thank you for the fondue or chocolate milkshake. Family friendly, prices fair, and service was prompt. Highly recommended!
