Ate here with my family night before Philly half marathon. It was busy, but able to get seated with short wait. Recommend calling ahead. Small place, loud, but lively. Food is definitely the star. Tried a large variety of dishes, soup dumplings maybe the favorite. All great flavors and reasonably priced. Will be back.

Good dim sum all day. Attentive service. Wine is available. The two servers kept refilling our water and clearing our empty dishes. The crispy noodles weren't crispy. The shrimp noodles, shumai, chives and shrimp dumplings, and pork bun were excellent.

Very good dim sum restaurant close to the Pennsylvania conference center! Great quality dim sum, steamed or fried or baked! Fast service. Will go here again.

Best bao bun I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot of bao buns). Pillowy, melt-in-your-mouth clouds of umami goodness. Yum. Also had the shrimp rice rolls, pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, and seasonal veggies. All were perfectly cooked and completely devoured. Will be coming back for some bao buns to go.

Fast, friendly, courteous and delicious dumplings. Kids just kept ordering they loved it so much. Chicken soup dimpling was the favorite. Bring cash if you want to save on the CC charge.

Soooo good! We love dim sum, although in our hometown of Toledo Ohio, we only have one restaurant that serves it, and only on specific days and times. At Nom Wah, the dim sum is all day every day! So many good options that it can be hard to choose, plus multiple options for hot tea. Really good pricing as well for the amount and quality of food you get. This would be an amazing place to come with multiple people, so you can get a vast array of food to share. Servers were friendly and our food came out fast, but also somewhat staggered so you can work on some of the dishes before you get the rest. We will absolutely return if we are ever back in Philly.

Nom Wah is a great dim sum place to stop by if you are in Philadelphia. It's pretty close to China Town and has amazing food. After our Dim Sum Garden let down (read my review on my profile) we went here to see if they were going to be any better. The main reason we came here was because they had the shrimp rice rolls that I love. We also ordered soup dumplings, some wonton soup and stuffed eggplants. It was all amazing. The place has a cozy but classy vibe as well. It's very sanitary and the people who work here are very nice. If you are into dim sum this is a definitely a place you will like and it's a good place for people who are new to dim sum.

4/5, Get the hot pork buns! They are massive and have great flavor. I tried a bunch of dishes when I went. The buns, spring rolls, and ho fun stood out, the soup dumplings got cold fast and weren’t as flavorful. Lastly the shrimp dumplings were not enjoyable, don’t recommend those!
