Villa Di Roma - Philadelphia - Photo album

Tried out Villa di Roma with friends on a bustling Thursday evening. Overall I had a great time, with tasty food and good service. The dishes we ordered were solid Italian fare, although nothing I tried was particularly noteworthy. It was also a little confusing to know where to go to get seated whe
Wow, some of the best red sauce (gravy? - I’m not Italian) I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even wait to get a full picture before digging in. The ambiance is classic Italian, the waiters are amazing. Clam pasta isnt the typical lemony garlic im used to, but nonetheless yummy. Meatballs are some of the bes
Villa di Roma is a South Philly staple of great Italian food. The food is always fresh and tastes great. Highly recommend this place for great food.
We stumbled upon this place on a Thursday evening and were able to get seated within five mins. It’s a lovely, family run, traditional, authentic Italian restaurant. We checked reviews before ordering and decided to start with mussels red (they were super tiny but the sauce was flavorful) and the fr
We were in Philly for the NEQ Volleyball tournament. I wanted Italian and found this place with good reviews and did see online they are cash only. I walked on a Thursday evening for 25 min and planned to takeout but they were too busy. I decided to eat at the bar but it would take a while. They sto
I placed an order for 2 orders of manicotti and instead I was given 2 orders of eggplant parmigiana and rigatoni. I had confirmed my order before leaving and when I arrived at home, opened the bag this is what was packed. I drove 2 hours round trip for what I had been craving all week was manicott
Been hitting Villa since I was a kid. Great Italian restaurant in South Philly! Definitely check out the Villa salad and I always wind up getting the Linguine di Abruzzi. Maybe one of these days I'll change it up. lol
Villa DiRoma finally reopened. The food was EXCELLENT as always. Tossed Salad, Shrimp Scampi, Grilled Asparagus to start. Then Baked Manicotti, and Steak with Shrimp with cherry peppers. One of the oldest and best Italian Restaurants in the city.
The food here was absolutely amazing! I had the chicken Neapolitan and my husband had the veal Sicilian and both were so full of flavor. Ordered a bottle of Bianco wine as well and it was the perfect compliment! If you are in the area you should give them a try.
Authentic Italian restaurant and bar located in the Italian Village of South Philly. Menu features endless options of pasta, meat and seafood dishes, and full bar has wide selection of beer and wines. Come here for date night or family night out, you won’t be disappointed.
The food was amazing..I haven't been here in years.. The service was excellent and everything came out really fast. We sat in middle aisle and it was a little tight and right next to other people, I wasn't a fan of that. The food was delicious but some stuff was overpriced. My friend ordered a side
This was really good Italian food and satisfied my Italian food craving. I like how it’s a large portion. I got some type of ziti pasta and my friend got spaghetti and meatballs. My entire dish was great and my friend said the meatballs were the bomb. Definitely will come back to this place.
It is soooo good. My 9 year old demolished her ravioli before I was done. Don't forget to ask for a side of meatballs and garlic bread. Totally recommend. Bring cash. Now 11 year old finished everything.
My friends and I had a wonderful lunch. They're known for their meatballs, and they did not disappoint! Raviolis are outstanding, the seafood pasta with white wine sauce was remarkable. A Family run business that's comfortable and welcoming. Dominic made our lunch fun! Will definitely go there next
The staff are lovely. The food is good, but could be better. I ordered the Chicken Bella Bucka; it says 2 generous pieces of chicken, but it isn't. Although the size was misleading, it tasted just as good as it looked, so I'd probably order it again.
We stumbled across this place walking and need to stop for drink . This place was absolutely amazing ! Everyone was so kinda. We watched as their workers were greeted with hugs and kisses as they arrive for their shift . The lady behind the bar was MARIANN , with an i ! Sweetest lady , she told us
Just happened to drop in for dinner. Our first time here. Mary was very nice and pleasant. Rich and I enjoyed our meal. Watched the Phillies and Atlanta. Ate Spaghetti and meatballs and Baked Rigatoni. Yum yummy. We will be returning. Wonderful establishment. Sharifa 🙂
Amazing food, was looking for a restaurant that is Italian while visiting Philadelphia and found this spot! The food is very authentic and the portion sizes are good. The Chicken Parmesan was great and the Cannoli was excellent! The staff was also very nice, which is a plus.
