A small menu but some very good offerings. The food was delicious and the garden is lovely. High marks to our server Cory who was attentive and kind.

Very nice fine dining experience after visiting the art exhibit. The dining area is very spacious with an open kitchen. I was surprised how quiet it was with an open kitchen. We had the choice to eat inside or out, although the garden looked nice, it was very hot out. The staff were young and very attentive and personable too. A plus, for a party of six it felt like we were constantly attended too.
A variety of dishes were ordered, tuna melt was poplar and well received. Chicken Salad BLT on fresh sourdough bread, roasted cauliflower salad with a side of chicken salad, and lastly Chicken Milanese. All were excellent. For desert we shared a Lemon olive oil loaf. It was like a moist pound cake. The price was in keeping with the venue and other restaurants like The Garden Restaurant. It was a nice treat and if presented with same opportunity I would do it again.

Liked it so much. Tasty breakfast burger and french toasts. Now it’s a favorite place.

Excellent restaurant at the museum. Perhaps the best museum restaurant in the area. Limited menu, but what they offered were quite good with high quality in food preparation and presentation. We enjoyed the salad, grilled salmon, steak and chicken salad BLT.
Service was superb. Decent wine list.

The food and service at the Garden Restaurant Cafe were as excellent as the art at the Barnes Foundation. The Semplice was perfectly arranged and one of the best tasting salads I had. The cheeseburger was prepared exactly how I asked for -- medium rare. Butterscotch Budino was outstanding. Lovely window views. Host, kitchen staff, and servers were all welcoming and helpful.

We loved the place. The view on the garden is just magical and the interior design was great. The staff was pleasant. It is so nice to have a great meal followed by a great visit. We saw Marie Laurencin exhibit which was amazing:-)

Dropped in for a late-ish lunch during my visit to the Barnes. My friend and I ordered their falafel roll, salad with salmon, and avocado toast. Everything was good-the falafel in particular was really delicious and the fries thick and fresh. Service was super nice. The waiter kindly switched feta in the salad for (a lot of) parmesan, and was friendly without being intrusive. A happy experience!

Luminous space with young, attentive staff. Menu is limited. I ordered the burger which was good, but the fries were extremely seasoned and salted - I love salty food but these fries were so salted that I left half of them. Next time I’ll see whether I can get them unseasoned.

Best burger, fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, dessert was too perfection.

I went for lunch and got the Steak Frites, a Gin Hound cocktail and had a few bites of the Lemon Olive Oil cake. The overall service was nice; I wish that the waiter was more cognizant about bringing us water as we were sitting outside and it was very hot and we finished our cups of water very quickly. (I will say I do think the restaurant needs to do something like either getting different pitchers or figuring out some other way so that customers can have a pitcher outside and don't need to wait to refill their glasses).
The kitchen was very clean and so was the restaurant, and the food was well prepared. More specifically I think the Steak Frites needed more to the plate as it was just steak with a light sauce and, I got fries, but you could switch that for a pile of lettuce. I wouldn't get that specific plate again.
The Gin Hound cocktail was extremely delicious and very refreshing. I would definitely get it again, and I must say that is a great first experience of gin.
The Lemon Olive Oil cake was good as you could taste the lemon and the raspberry coulis drizzled on the plate gave it some lift. However, the cakes texture was like cornbread and the olive oil was so strong that the raspberry coulis was the only thing that simmered it down. I think it was nice and my coworker enjoyed it too, but I won't ever get that dessert again.
I don't remember what the cost of the cocktail was but the steak plate was $30 alone. My project supervisor took our whole team out for lunch as thanks for our efforts but that restaurant is not a place I would go to normally as it's out of my price range.

This restaurant located at Philadelphia's Barnes Collection is well worth a visit (whether or not you enter to view the fantastic artwork). I have been here multiple times, and every experience was excellent. The creative dishes are always well-prepared and the service is outstanding!

This restaurant in the Barnes is absolutely amazing...a must see
for foodies visiting the Philly art scene. I'd place it in my top 5 places to eat lunch in Philly. Food ingredients are fresh, and each tasty selection beautifully plated. Wait staff is attentive. This is no run of the mill museum cafe. The experience feels special. Highly recommend.

Really nice lunch. The chicken salad BLT was an elevated version of the traditional sandwich and the fries were awesome!

It's a small coffee stand but it has some great options for a coffee and snack/pastry to enjoy the outdoor area. The seating is comfortable and plentiful. I'm surprised more people weren't there.
