The restaurant we originally wanted to try had an hour wait, so we walked a bit further and found this gem. It was quiet and was sat immediately. Food was great. The truffle mac and cheese was delicious. Truffle fries were ok, a bit too salty for me. Brussel sprouts were also delicious, tho there are bacon bits in it so beware if you are vegetarian. Price is a bit pricey but not unreasonable for a downtown restaurant. Portion of the sides were great, we had enough for leftovers

I had a really delicious meal here with a small group. The servers were able to accommodate our group on short notice. The restaurant has a really neat atmosphere. We all really enjoyed our food. The menu is small, but it has options for most people. Side note: you have to go on a bit of an adventure to get to the bathrooms; they are up 1 floor.

Square 1682 has the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night outing. Shoutout to waiter-in-training, Kaleif and his trainer Angela. They were very attentive and informative about menu items. Given their insights on menu favorites, it made making our decision easier. Our appetizers was the honey cornbread which was delicious. The Square 1682 burger was well prepared with truffle parm fries . The highlight was the garlic aioli, bacon jam and Brie. The pan seared salmon was cooked medium and lightly seasoned which complimented the peas and fingerling potatoes.

Best Restaurant Revival of 2023 (so far) is Square 1682. ✨ There's a new Black Executive Chef at this Center City favorite who has elevated this new menu to greater heights. Definitely check this out if you haven't in a while. Great cocktails and service/hospitality! Definitely my new spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had booked a lunch reservation for restaurant week. Looked at the menu online and everything. Got to the restaurant and they didn't offer the lunch menu. Just brunch. It was ok though. Ordered the duck wings and waffle, and I was not disappointed. Very flavorful, the wings were crispy, and the waffle was golden on the outside and moist on the inside. Almost cake-like. The sauce on the wings mixed with the syrup on the waffle was delightful. My friends had the American Breakfast with a side of grits. And let's not forget their Aperol Spritz was just the thing to get the afternoon started.

This place is a gem. I loved everything about this place, the staff was super friendly and the food came out fast. All of the food was fresh, I went there for brunch and was not disappointed. The duck wings and waffle was delicious as well as the shrimp and grits. And it’s very affordable. I will definitely be back. I also got a parfait and the fruit was super fresh.

The food was delicious and the plating was clean and decorative. The candle lit atmosphere is one I'd recommend. My family and I had this very well spoken young man as our server. Leaf made sure we enjoyed our family dinner. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

I've been twice and both times with large groups. This restaurant does a wonderful job of accommodating these large groups and providing us with friendly service alongside great food and drinks. As you can see, the food presentation is excellent and the food itself tastes delicious. One fun tip, go to the bathroom and explore the attached hotel a little bit, lots of cool art!

A perfect Sunday breakfast spot. Could not recommend the pancakes with a side of hickory bacon more!

Went for brunch with a group of 7. Honestly the food was way better than I was expecting. Also ordered an aperol spritz which is a easy drink so can't comment on it really. Coffee was decent. Service was good, though they refilled our water just once.. which is problematic when the cups are 8oz... Space is cute and large. I had the waygu burger.... Don't be fooled... As someone who has been to Kobe Japan, this wasn't waygu. Despite that, good cooked burger, like the double patty. Fries were well cooked. Husband got the huevos rancheros and said they were really amazing. I think the prices were on point too.

Really good food. Started with a cheese plate and tuna tartare. I had the whole red snapper. Very fresh and tasty. The hassle back potato just needed salt, not a big deal. The wife had the hanger steak and fries. Meat was cooked perfect. The sauce she thought was just okay. Would return.
