Decided to take a walk in Centery City and came upon this restaurant which was serving brunch. There were interesting paintings and artwork on the walls adding to the ambience. Staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend the Vegetariana Frittata and Margarita on the rocks, The prices were very reasonable. I didn't sit outside but people were as the weather was mild. I would definitely come here again. Maybe for their Happy Hour.
From the hostess, to the waitstaff, to the food, my experience at Mixto was phenomenal as always. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a place with a great vibe and an appetizing selection of edible excellence.

Great brunch menu for Easter Sunday. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Service was excellent and I enjoyed the atmosphere too.
This is our favorite restaurant in the city so of course, for Mother’s Day, my daughters and husband booked a reservation for brunch, just like we did last year, because why would we go anywhere else? Delicious brunch, a couple of very well made mojitos, a few bacon Bloody Marys and everyone went home happy! We come for brunch and dinner very often, bringing friends from Puerto Rico as well as from Ireland and although they have very diverse palettes, they have always been very happy and satisfied with Mixto’s appealing menu choices! We will keep coming back and look forward to warm weather when perhaps we can sit outside, although the atmosphere inside is just as lovely!

Mixto is always amazing. Great drinks. Great staff. Food is consistently amazing. What more can you ask for? This place is good for a romantic date or catching up with friends. One of my favorite restaurants in Philly!!
Our waiter was very entertaining and had us laughing. Food was good only complaint would be that we ordered the steak medium well and it was very pink. Gratuity is added to the check so make sure you don’t tip again unless you want to.
Mixto is a must visit in Philly! Latin cuisine, great portions, great flavor and excellent presentation! Service is very attentive. The atmosphere is lively! Drinks are fantastic!

Made reservations but got there early and was greeted by hostess at stand as we walked in and seated in the upstairs part of the restaurant. They have a full bar and TV’s with sporting events playing.
Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested the fried seafood appetizer which ended up being so good. She check in on our table and made sure we were good. While waiting for our appetizers to arrive we had bread to eat on and wait.
While waiting this lady approaches us and asked to take our picture, umm ok. She’s flicking away and I wait for her to then try and get money from us nope she says thanks and walks off (I heard her snapping away downstairs). She returns later with 3 photos in a frame and said they were $20 each. I did end up getting on since I was there celebrating but the whole encounter was different, like no communication at all.
Have been here several times for both dinner and brunch and the food is really good! My last visit was actually Father’s Day 2023 for brunch on a date with my husband. I was actually able to make a reservation online about 2 hours before they opened at 10 am since we decided to come on a whim. For this visit, my husband had the Cuban breakfast and I had the arepas, one stuffed with pork and the other with chicken. All the dishes were great but I personally prefer their dinner menu more. We also had a coffee and a latte. Will be back soon!
Came here for sunday brunch, I would recommend making reservations it was pretty crowded. The food was really yummy and flavorful, we had the beef and chicken empanadas , and the Columbian breakfast, it was very reasonably priced as well.. the espresso martinis were perfect! Also gratuity is included in the bill
Loved this place, great food authentic Latin flavors, nice trendy decor, friendly service. With good drinks & an everyday brunch menu! Came to celebrate a graduation with a large group and was easily accommodated.
I love this place. I go about every other month. I always get ropa vieja. This time I got the mofongo and seafood paella too. Never disappointed. Happy hour did not disappoint.

I arrived Sunday for brunch and the food was extremely tasty! I had the Columbia breakfast and my sisters had the Cuban breakfast. They all tasted amazing. But the drinks were AMAZING! I had the coconut mojito and the passion fruit mojo and I loved everything. We were greeted by the kindest, funniest and sweetest hostess. He helped us right away. The service was also so great. The servers were all so accommodating.
My wife and I are visiting from Kansas City, MO. This place is around the corner from our hotel so we gave it a try. So glad that we did. We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. The place was alive with conversation, laughter, and Latin music. Very festive but not over the top. The food was amazing and the service was good. I highly recommend and wished we had one back home!!
This place is one of my favourite restaurants in the gayborhood. I like this place as they have great cocktails and these cocktails are strong enough. Veggie paella is just best in philadelphia. This place is very cozy, server was a great flirt and good service. I surely recommend this place!
Great wait staff, great food. The steak in my Argentinian breakfast had a really great flavor. Their hot sauce was made in house and flavorful. There was another sauce that came with the meal that tasted awesome as well. Their plantains were cooked perfectly. What put this over the $30 mark were the huge Bloody Mary's. I would definitely go back here.

I visited today for Fathers Day and had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend the mussels in white sauce. The sauce was absolutely creamy & delicious. I literally wanted to drink it after the mussels were finished. The bread was hot & lightly crispy and went perfectly with the mussels. I love the $7 brunch mimosas and also had a decent pisco sour. My partner had a guava & passion fruit flavored margarita. Both were delicious. For entrees we had the rib-eye which initially came out overcooked. Our server brought us a new one quickly which was cooked correctly. It was good but pales in comparison to the lamb chops which were incredibly tender and delicious. The risotto that came with it was my favorite menu item! Perfectly cooked, cheesy and packed with artichokes, asparagus & mushrooms. While the food was great, the best part of our experience was our server Alexander. He was kind, helpful and attentive. Helped us pick some great menu items. At the end of our meal he wished my non-binary partner Happy Fathers Day which really touched both of us as a stranger has never done this. Thank you for being warm, accepting & inclusive. It really made our day!
I used to go to this place all of the time years ago. I stopped going because it started to feel like it was losing its soul.
Fast forward to 2022, I have revised this place and I was impressed all over again. The servers were very kind and hospitable. The food.........
I will say as a person who has traveled to a few Latin American countries, this food is very authentic. Yes it's on the pricey side, but that goes along with the neighborhood. I wouldn't go all of the time, but it's definitely worth the visit. I would highly recommend this place for excellent Latin cuisine!
Had a fantastic evening! Restaurant location was ideal, wait staff was exceptional even with all of our questions. They handled our table of 6 with no problem. The food was all amazing, taste as well as presentation. Definite repeat customers when in town.
This is my second time dining here and mixto is an amazing establishment. Our server Chris gave us the most amazing service and the experience was authentic. Perfect mix between party vibes and restaurant atmosphere. Drinks and food were great. 10/10 would recommend.
