Silk City Diner - Philadelphia - Photo album

Went on tail end of happy hour (4-6) and sad easily seated at the bar and able to place food and drinks. The fries were an insane portion and Brussels were seasoned and crispy with a thick sauce. Drink options for happy hour were somewhat limited. James was excellent. The ambience was way cooler tha
I really like this place! I had to take off one star because my food came out cold. šŸ˜ My friends shrimp burger came out perfectly hot and it was delicious as well. The server took it back, brought me a new one, took it off the bill AND gave us a drink on the house! Great service!! Good drinks! The m
Stopped by for the first time for brunch on a Saturday (11-3) I would advise reservations (we came spur of the moment so no reservations) We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened at 11 am..and there were quite a few parties already waiting. We were able to get a table sitting outside for our p
This has been my favorite philly diner for over 20 years. I grew out of Philly so it's been 8 years since I was there. They enclosed the garden and made a heated patio which I loved. Great service and food still. The shrimp and grits there are the best!
Food was fresh. tasty. Great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice relaxing music to enjoy while eating. Noticed good vibes and lots of laughter throughout the joint. Will try again for sure.
While Silk City Diner got a good Meatloaf for Dinner. To me Silk City is better for the Brunch Menu. The Creator Seasonal Cocktail & I Need A Vacation Cocktail on point. The Fruit Cup, Thai Chili Wings, Chicken Salad & Chicken Empanadas šŸ’Æ.
I really like this place because itā€™s a multi use space. You have the restaurant where the food is good, they have outdoor dining & they have a club attached. It was a good time the service couldā€™ve been better & the food was on point per usual.
Knew ā€” hoped, really ā€” the minute I laid eyes on the place days after moving to the area, this was going to be one our regular spots, just please let the food be as good as the atmosphere. And phew! Better than we'd even hoped. But not only is the food well above average, but the vibe and energy of
This was pretty good chicken and waffles. Itā€™s a unique take which is why it gets four stars, itā€™s drizzled in spicy honey and has a little kick. My server was very friendly. In the middle is some kind of lemon butter spread, I liked it. Itā€™s worth a try. This place is also a club and Iā€™ve had fun
Silk City is great The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is delectable. I went there to see a live band and acoustically the place couldnā€™t be better people. They are really nice and you will definitely have a great time. I thought I would buy right now the drinks are reasonably priced The staff is
I had a beef omelet was good. Home fries were sitting on warmer way too long I had to request for a fresh batch which came out good. They automatically take it 20% gratuity for dine in our 10% for take out orders. So yes, I want fresh food!
This place is bang on and a fun spot. They could easily open earlier and do a ton more business. But I get also not wanting to do that if you're already busy. The waiter cheered on what we ordered which I thought was great.
This place is amazing, I ate here almost ten years and had the most amazing biscuits and gravy... i tried coming back for breakfast two weeks ago and found they are open 5pm on weekdays but on weekends you can have brunch starting at 11-3 then dinner. Now this time around there's no biscuits and gra
Very cool atmosphere and vibe. I especially love the light up Halloween decor additions for this time of year. The turkey BLT was great! The fries were a bit over fried for my liking, though. Overall, a great experience and we would go back if we make it to Philly again
Stopped by for a Sunday brunch inside the diner. With the recent heat in Philly, I decided to not reserve a spot on the patio, but it is an option when making a reservation. Overall, this was a fun brunch spot with a few items that I didn't love. First, service was fairly slow. I would imagine they
Really enjoyed the food and the ambiance of this place. I had the omelet and my lady the grilled cheese and soup. Both were absolutely delicious.
