The Side Door Saloon ... yes, it's a saloon type atmosphere! Beautiful long bar and cozy seating. TVs for sports enthusiasts. But the food is far better than saloon quality! The mushrooms olive burger is the best burger in town. "How do you want it?" Medium rare comes exactly medium rare. Tasty, juicy, and delicious. Plan to return again, and again ... Service is quick and efficient - 5 star.

Side door is a great family-friendly restaurant. The service was amazing. Their menu has tons of options to meet everyone's tastes. The olive burger sauce was great, but the burger itself kind of had a frozen, bulk beef taste that I wasn't a huge fan of. My wife ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which was good. Their kids' menu thankfully had buttered noodles, which is 1 of the 3 things my picky 7 year old eats. The moms ordered soup and a quesadilla, which they both enjoyed. They don't have a fryer so this isn't the place to go if you're looking for fries or fried foods, but it is a suitable place to stop if you're looking for something tasty and affordable.

I will start with my rating system. It is simple. I'll be a regular or I won't. This is in the category of I'll be a regular. In the casual dining category this restaurant is top notch. Great food at a very reasonable price. They are incredibly quick with food preparation even when it is busy. The staff is always very good. The place is popular for exactly the reasons I gave.

My first time there in over 46 years. (Because I lived in Florida). I went with my aunt and her husband. They had come up for a week. The food was great. Well, except for the huge slice of onion for my burger. Now I know to tell them to slice thin. Had a great time there and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Great place! They make an awesome old fashion (if you're a fan like me), their foods great (I got a whitefish quesadilla that I inhaled without photographing), and the service was good! They also have a cute patio if you want to be outside and they are close to town, next door to puttputt and down the street from the State Park... what's not to like?
