Beautiful ambiance for the price point, I was a bit awe struck as we were seated because the view and natural lighting are really lovely. The view of the water was beautiful and the food was delicious. Just went for a light lunch and it was perfect.

Absolutely delicious. Beautiful view outside and very nice patio. Being so near the water it was a bit buggy but that's to be expected. Everything we tasted was delicious. The sushi was very well prepared and great quality. The scallion pancakes were phenomenal we will order it every time we visit.

The best thing about Kogetsu is it's location. They have an outdoor deck that overlooks a dam. The wasabi shumai was very good and the baby octopus is excellent. I wasn't thrilled with the walnut shrimp, we enjoyed the Hawaiian duck more.

Just some of the delicious food we ordered. My husband also had sushi and it was phenomenal. We were impressed with everything. There is also a cute view of a small waterfall. Great setting, amazing food, attentive service.

Good food, good service, great spot. As others have noted, the dining part of the experience can be a little hit-or-miss — I was annoyed that my server never asked if I wanted a second drink — but the overall atmosphere and view makes up for a lot.

2021: kogetsu has a nice patio with tables, inside tables are separated by plexiglass dividers, wait stuff wore masks - good for pandemic dining. The appetizer were very good. The baby octopus was particularly memorable. Shrimp with walnuts and honey and Hawaiian duck were both decent. We ordered
