Service and atmosphere are wonderful. As a vegan, menu options are very limited but delicious margaritas, a wonderful festive atmosphere, and friendly service make it a good option on occasion.

Our hostess had a personality and smile that could light up a dark room. The outdoor seating is excellent as it immerses you into the buzz of downtown Petaluma. Lastly, most importantly, I found the food to be quite delicious!

I’m not the biggest fan of Mexican food- Americanized or traditional and I had a great experience at Mi Pueblo El Centro. They even got my order wrong and remade it for me. The salsas were too spicy for me but the food was great and the service and staff was even better.

Petaluma has many places to dine. But it is truly something incredible when the smell of a restaurant pulls you in. Mi Pueblo did that. We dined in around 6 PM with ample seating options at a pretty busy time. Service was great. We ordered and received our food quickly. If you have kids there is a kids menu with nuggets and fries. I ordered the Chile Relleno which was on the smaller side but paired with the rice and beans made for a perfect meal. Everything was delicious and highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Great restaurant and good service. Authentic Mexican or Hispanic restaurant with any dish you desired even if it wasn't on the menu. I personally had the shrimp super burrito. I couldn't eat the whole thing and it sure was a great second meal later. There are plenty of restaurants similar to what they serve but the downtown atmosphere and outside seating and the quality of food makes it my number one choice for Petaluma.

Nice food, and MASSIVE portions. Good lord. Ask for a takeout box and bring a bag to put it in. Had a macho burrito and I’ll be eating the rest tomorrow.

Visiting downtown Petaluma and decided to stop by because we were hungry. We ordered the carne asada, El pastor, chili Verde, fish and shrimp tacos. They were pretty good. Service could have been a little better time wise but it seemed that they were closing soon. Service was very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our time eating out on the parklet. Chips and salsa was very good and we hope that they still had the habanero but they were out of it. I would return definitely.
Update: Still delicious and better service. Ordered about the same thing as before.

My first time here, typical Mexican fare with most dishes accompanied by rice and beans, choice of tortillas. Very good food, generous portions, really liked my margarita. Torta was so big I took half of it home. Comfortable outside seating. Dogs welcome.

Love this place, we went on a Sunday afternoon in August, and everything was perfect. We were seated promptly, and the service in general was prompt too. The food(the fried fish dish, and the chicken burrito) tasted amazing. The margaritas were indeed grand lol, it took a while to finish them. The sangria was great too. The servers did their best, and were quite polite. They were kind enough to provide us multiple servings of chips and salsa, which was great too. I’ll be back here again, and will recommend this to anyone looking for a quality Mexican food place in Downtown Petaluma.
