We had high hopes with the reviews here and were excited to find a sushi & sake bar, but no I wouldn't recommend. Tempura was cold and uncooked - I think the oil wasn't hot enough so the batter was still wet. The menu said fried Chinese dough with sweetened condensed milk what we got were 4 cold stale rolls and were told we could use sugar packets instead of dipping sauce. Sushi was just a pile of rice with a stuffed middle. No sticky rice today. Lastly the $4 tea was just hot water. :(

This is my all time favorite Asian cuisine restaurant. Everything is authentic and quality. My boyfriend and I have tried so many things on their menu, and we’ve never left disappointed. Our favorite is the seafood tempura roll! We’ve become regulars here, and the staff knows us well! It feels so homey.

I could not recommend this place more! I’ve been going here for four years, and they have the best food in Peoria. They have a huge selection, but my favorites are the potstickers and the house sushi roll! The green tea is also delicious.

Sushi KO is our FAVORITE local Japanese restaurant. You will not be disappointed with their customer service, menu options and food! They offer dine-in, takeout & are also available on DoorDash. Definitely a 5-star restaurant.

Service was pretty pitiful - when we arrived at 730 on a Saturday night, we were told that we'd better order right away because the chef was leaving in 15 minutes. Why take the reservation at that time if that was going to be the situation? Also, my wife and I ordered miso soup, but they only had one. The waiter brought us one miso and one hot and sour soup, then when I mentioned at checkout that we only got one he still charged us for 2, saying "the hot and sour is technically more expensive anyway". What the heck? Sushi was solid, esp for the price, but go ahead and get it to go 😉

I and my husband just had sushi here the 4th time! I am pregnant and we have only ordered fried sushi at Sushi Ko. We have had Seafood Tempura, House Maki, Caterpillar, Dynamite, Dragon and Spider rolls. Our top 3 favorites are Seafood Tempura, House and Caterpillar. This place has the best sushi in Peoria and we cannot wait to go back soon!!

We went today, Sunday and Mothers Day, for dinner. They were very busy with customers and to go orders. Still fast service and kind employees. Food was delicious and quantities were big. We just added that restaurant to our list of favorites in Peoria.

One of the best cheaper ones in Illinois. Comparable to sushi 9 down in Texas (if you know, you know). Their brown garlic sauce about blew me out of my chair.
