WOW! I LOVE Vietnamese food. Every place we live I have a few priorities in terms of settling on favorite restaurants. I have to find my perfect pizza place, the best possible Mexican food, and a killer Vietnamese restaurant. Having lived in the NY metro area, the SF Bay Area, and Calgary, I have had Vietnamese food at a variety of establishments in all of these places. None of them compare with the quality AND quantity of food at Thanh Linh. A friend at work told me about it today, so we wasted no time and took our boys there tonight.
Four entrees would have been more than enough four all six of us, but we didn't know that so we went home with a goodly amount of leftovers. Everything was perfectly flavored and perfectly cooked. We had the Vietnamese Curry Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. We had Egg Noodles with Beef, which was so full of flavor. And we had our regular stand-by dish of Vermicelli and Pork Lettuce Bowl. I'm almost getting hungry again just thinking about how yummy it all was. Everything tasted extremely fresh and came out piping hot. The mango bubble tea was also perfectly on point!
The restaurant is very clean and well-kept, and had a steady stream of guests. I highly, highly recommend Thanh Linh and am SO happy that we have so quickly found our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Peoria!
This place is hands down one of the greatest places to eat in Peoria. I would eat there everyday if I could, and their coffee is freakin amazing! Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet work there. If you haven't gone to eat here, go now. Thank me later �
Yesterday was the first time I've ordered off the menu, as my husband and I got there for a late lunch shortly after 2 pm. I've had the lunch buffet several times before, so I wanted to see what else they had to offer. I got the pork pad thai with rice noodles and egg, and my husband hot the mixed seafood noodle dish.
We also enjoy steamed shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. I was beyond hungry when we walked into the door, but I could only finish a third of my dish! My husband had a bit more than half and had the rest for dinner last njght. I'll be enjoying my leftovers over two more portions this week. $29 got us the appetizer and two entrees that lasted essentially for 5 servings. We will be back!
Very big portions and food is very presented and cooked very well very enjoyable and the price is incredible for how much you get recommend for all that likes this type of food
Great food & service with a superb lunch buffet! Favorites are the spicy lemongrass chicken, pad Thai, and their egg rolls (the best). They do get busy at peak times between Bradley students & downtown lunch people but turnover is usually pretty quick. Much better than in their old location which was much smaller. They also do a ton of carryout orders.
Best Vietnamese food I have ever had. It's one my top resturants to go to. Nothing else compares. The staff is so helpful and friendly they can recommend their wonderful dishes. It's always very clean. It's a must try, you won't be sorry! Their soups are like no other.
Been going since there opened their little shop down the street. Wish I could go more often..chicken wings r the best...likesweet sour soup no place else makes it like that......(just the broth is good ).
First time there today....The atmosphere is great and the staff extremely nice. The food was wonderful, especially the crab rangoon, the best I've had yet! We will be back soon!

Our favorite restaurant in town, by a long mile. Reasonable prices for massive portions, with friendly and attentive service in a pleasant and comfortable environment located in a nicer part of town. And the food! Oh man, the food! It's so excellent. Deliriously delicious on so many levels. We've had about a dozen different dishes there, each and every one sweeping us off our feet: sweet-and-sour chicken, bell pepper stir fry, crab rangoon, beef pho, fried rice, spring rolls, lemongrass chicken, egg noodle stir fry... the list goes on. My head's spinning just thinking about it all.
But their crown jewels? The Thanh Linh Iced Tea and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. We'd stop in on a consistent basis just for those. Their iced coffee effortlessly surpasses anything else offered by the nearby Starbucks (no surprise there) and even local coffee joints like Midnight Espresso (best overall coffee in town; hit them up!) and Thirty-Thirty (close runner-up). Very sweet, very tasty, very addictive. You've been warned. It's that damn good.
All in all, Thanh Linh is, hands down, your best bet for Asian cuisine in the entire Peoria area. Hell, it's probably the best in all of central Illinois. Having recently moved out of state, we highly doubt we can find another restaurant to fill the void left by our precious Thanh Linh. Go there, take all the leftovers home (and there *will* be leftovers, trust me), leave a good tip (because the service is excellent and also, c'mon, don't be a jerk), and I can ~guarantee~ you, you'll be itching to return the next day.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. They have great prices and they give you a generous amount of food. I love this place!!! I will not go anywhere else.

Beautiful food and beautiful staff! Went in for the first time today and I feel like I will be talking about this meal for weeks! Had the buffet today and loved that I could try a little of everything. Nothing disappointed! Can't wait to return.
In my opinion, Thanh Linh has 5-star quality food. They serve an absolute mountain of food that is very delicious and good for 2-3 meals. They look and taste spectacular! They also have a small lunch buffet that I'd love to try when I come back!
HOWEVER, I was quite disappointed with the service. Our group of 6 waited at least half an hour for the waiter to take our order. We closed our menus, looked around, and gave every hint that we were ready to order. Finally, one of us just walked to the front desk and asked if we could order. They weren't even that busy when we came in, which made things worse.
I hope for better service next time, but the food is good enough to come back for!
The lunch buffet is incredible!!! Best way to try new foods. Put a little bit of everything on your plate and see what you like. Dont skip the 2 soups. My personal favorite dish here isn’t on the buffet… thin rice noodles with tofu. Give that a try at dinner some time.
Seeing lots of reviews about service. Yes we’ve waited for awhile to be sat and have our orders taken. But the food is worth it and everyone here works extremely hard. Staff are always hustling and running around. They’ve kept prices reasonable at the cost of food has skyrocketed, and on their end labor is so expensive and we have a worker shortage! Be a bit more empathetic people. Appreciate that this hard working family wants to wake up everyday and feed us.

Sooo much food! I ordered a four meat (beef, pork, chicken & shrimp) dinner served over rice. It was delicious at the restaurant & there was enough for three meals at home! All for about $14 tax included!
Super impressed with this place! Very clean, nice employees, tbh I wasn't expecting much on Main after many years away and was genuinely surprised, nothing bad to say at all.. plenty of parking, the portions were huge, fresh and delicious. When I got my Crab Rangoon, I was expecting the mass-produced Costco-style ones and received incredible, home-made, super large ones for like $5. No exaggeration, the portions are huge!

Wonderful food. Very fresh and the flavors were magnificent. I travel a lot and like to eat Vietnamese whenever it's available. You will not regret ordering from here. By the way, the curries are authentically a bit spicy so tell them if you wish it to be mild.
The reviews speak for themselves! If you're from around here you've been to Thanh Linh. If you're visiting absolutely do not hesitate to give this place a shot. The portions are huge, prices are great and quality of food/service is excellent. My wife and I try to eat at as many places as we can but often times find ourselves gravitating back here.
