Kelleher's Irish Pub

We went to Kelleher’s after a Bradley University basketball game and had to find some seating that wasn’t cleared off yet and then find a waitress to order food since they were pretty busy that day. I ordered the Trinity Burger and fries, which was much different than what I would usually order myself. The burger wasn’t too bad, but wouldn’t be my first pick based on my usual pallet. The fries and the potato skins my friend got were really good. Wouldn’t mind going there again and trying something I’m more used to. 😁

I thought this place was pretty cool. It is in a cool part of town. The food was pretty good, but would have been even better if it hadn't sat under a heat lamp for so long. The service was not greatest I've ever had and it took an hour to get food, but I know the restaurant industry is struggling with keeping enough good employees.

Used to be good, but it seems like for the past few years the quality has diminished. Went just recently and they were out of multiple drink and food items. The food we did end up with seemed like it was just frozen food they thawed versus the homemade quality of yesteryear. The ambience and the summer street party are nice which is why I give it 3 stars. Otherwise, not much to write home about.

My 3 kids and I had lunch after seeing a show at the Riverfront Museum a few blocks away. Every aspect of the service was a little slow--but was always helpful and kind. The food was solid, but was less than hot (product of staffing, I suppose). It just appears that they, like everyone else, is having staffing issues. I highly recommend the beef bites for an appetizer!
