I always order a sake bomb (or 2😉) when I sit down, Shuan mala beef fried is another must try here! For those that enjoy their seafood, the oysters are always a hit here! Love this place

People...please please please try Kawaii if you haven't already. Such charming places (both in Peoria and Glendale)...homey and comfortable and delightful and welcoming. The food is completely sensational...all the time, no exception Top notch. While I don't eat sushi, their sushi bar seems like the real deal. The bar area in the Peoria location is eye-popping. Rivals a standalone bar! And the owner Kelly....the nicest person you will ever ever meet. Warm, hospitable, charming, friendly. She makes you feel like a friend very first time you meet her. Just an awesome all-around experience!

My wife and I were in the mood for sushi. We wanted to try something new. I suggested Kawaii Asian Cuisine in Peoria for lunch. Family owned and operated the the staff was friendly and welcoming. I liked the decor they have a nice menu which is reasonable priced. We both had the sushi lunch, which includes a choice of soup or salad. The sushi was fresh and flavorful they were also working on their fall menu, and the chef gave us a sample to try. I wasn't able to use my Groupon falling victim to the fine print, which was not valid for Happy Hour or lunch specials, which I usually hate, but the sushi was delicious and worth another trip to use the Groupon correctly. We love living so close to Kawaii. Their takeout is always spot on and ready when it says. We love that we can customize their rolls to our liking (we add siracha and Jalapeno to some of the rolls because we love spice!) Definitely give them a try, their sushi is fresh and delicious 😋.

Always a good time at Kawaii! The food is amazing! We love the orange chicken and the Vegas roll! The owner Kelly is so much fun to hangout with! Highly recommend!

I ordered a Cali roll, and added a shrimp tempura into it.
Perfect !
Hubby got miso soup & a rainbow roll.

Prices were reasonable and the service was super nice and friendly.
We went during lunch time and they had a few specials that which was super nice since a lot of us couldn’t decide on which rolls to get. So we all got different ones and shared around the table.
From the second we stepped in till the second we left, it was an all over great experience. I would absolutely go back again.

I absolutely love this place! We have had so many good times here. The food is always fresh and tastes so great. The ownership is incredible, and is always looking for new ways to treat their guests even better! You never know what you're going to get when you go, but you know it's going to be amazing!

Excellent meal. Was able to get in on a busy night. Reservation through Google said was declined but it was waiting for us when we got there. Was nice to sit with one of the owners and was a festive atmosphere. Love the new menu. Tried the Beef & Mushrooms and was amazing. Definitely getting again.

My family ate here tonight. We had salted edamame to start. I had the rainbow cali roll with miso soup. My girlfriend and daughter had the chicken chow fun and teriyaki chicken.
Great tasting food. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I would recommend this establishment.
