I went for my birthday for the first time a couple of days ago. I must say I loved the Mediterranean food and very nice prices on food and hookah! My waitress was very attentive on the busy night se sat outside on the back patio. The atmosphere is great, the food was wonderful as I got the tandoori chicken! Also to find out that Jordan Valley is byob is very special. I have to brag about my waitress she was so awesome ! Always on it with the refills and checking on the 7 of us! Go to Jordan valley! It's a really good experience and I haven't enjoyed myself like that in a restaurant in a while!
I come here all the time the foods good but more importantly the staff are awesome they actually take their time and make you feel welcome one server who really sticks out is Wayne it doesn't matter if we're his table he'll still come by to make sure everything alright with the hookah and the food even just to make sure we feel welcome highly recommend this place you won't find better folks in Pensacola
This is my husbands favorite restaurant and I have to say I enjoy it as well. We always order the sampler platter, the grape leaves are my favorite. My husbands loves the baba ghanouj and the humus. We will definitely be coming back!
Excellent place to enjoy Mediterranean food, music and atmosphere. The hummus and pita are always delicious and the Mixed Grill Platter is enough for 2 people! Their food truck is awesome too!
Delicious and cozy; we r definitely coming back again and will recommend it to our friends š
best place for Mediterranean food in Pensacola and the hookah there is awesome
Came here for dinner and everything tasted great! Definitely coming back with friends. The waitress with blue hair made sure our drinks were refilled and still checked on us after we checked out and hung around for a bit. This place deserves 100 stars! Forever a Jordan Valley Fan!
Best hummus I have ever tasted hands down. We got delivery through city spree and I am super satisfied with the food. Beef plate with rice and hummus, so so good.
Always great, favorite place to eat in Pensacola. Have tried other things but we always fall back to the gyro platter
This place is a gem. My father and I stopped in after along day at the beach. My dad got a gyro and hummus I ordered the tabbouleh and the falafel. Everything was well seasoned and balanced. Our server was prompt and attentive to all the tables in our area.
Awesome place! The food was very good and the desserts were fabulous! Our waitress Brooklynn ran the whole front of the house and was cheerful and efficient!!! Great experiencešš¤©
(Not pictured: grape leaves wrap...eaten before pictures were taken.)
All the food was delicious! Pizza was shockingly good! We got there at about 7pm was not crazy busy on Friday night. The server was wonderful! The prices were awesome for the portions & great quality! We will be going back again!
I've known about Jordan Valley for many years, and I finally had a chance to enjoy a Saturday night dinner here with a dear friend. We asked our server what his favorite dish was, and without evening blinking he said, "shish lamb." So my friend got that, and he quickly recommended the tandoori chicken, which was already calling my name. And it was, quite possibly, the best tandoori chicken of my life. Beautifully seasoned with just the slightest bit of smoky heat. Incredibly moist and nearly falling apart. Our server asked if I wanted a spicy sauce--I'll never turn down a spicy sauce. And it complimented the chicken beautifully! It does have a good kick to it, so if you're sensitive to heat, I'd steer clear of the spicy sauce. The hummus, rice, and side salad were a refreshing palette cleaner. My only complaint was that the pita was store bought and not made fresh in house. I will definitely be returning!
This place is wonderful! We just ate there a few days ago with our Mother in Law visiting, and I hadn't been in a long while.
The food is really tasty and delicious, plentiful, and even better, AFFORDABLE compared to so many places who are just gouging us to death. I will be back regularly with my family, absolutely love it!
*The only knock I'll give it is, we wanted to sit outside, but there's no view of the street, there's a tarp. Perhaps there's some construction or reason for it.
I had the tandoori chicken platter and let me just start with the word FRESH! The hummus was the best I have ever had and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. I sat inside however there is a patio available too! The staff was very attentive and helpful in making my selection and guided me with spice level and recommendations. Definitely try the tabouli salad, again FRESH! Definitely a gem of Pensacola!
I visit Pensacola about twice a year to see my friends and family. My friend suggested to try this place since I love hookah and Iām obsessed with middle eastern food. Our server ( I think he said his name is Ali) he made us this great hookah mix and I was in love. I would have to give the food 10/10. Overall we had a great time and Iām definitely stopping by next time Iām in town.
I decided to have lunch here after an outdoor event and it was a very pleasant experience.
The restaurant itself is focused around Mediterranean food and has a very relaxed atmosphere.
All the staff were nice, patient with me, and were speedy with getting orders.
I tried the middle eastern tea, the Kafta, and a baklava for dessert. Everything was well made and quite tasty. The Kafta stood out to me. It was well spiced and garnished with hummus, tomatoes and lettuce.
I'll definitely stop by here again in the future.
If you are in Pensacola, Florida, in the downtown area. You want to have some Arabian style food, then it's a good restaurant. Car parking is enough and easy to get. And it's very cheap. Wheelchair accessible entry. Not so big. If you like to sit in the air-conditioned area, sit inside. If you like to sit roadside, then have a clean fenced area. Kid friendly restaurants. Ceiling fans making a good air flow so you feel comfortable. I would prefer out side sitting. They have a big choice of food. Enjoy your food.
Relax and have fun.
We love this place! It is such a hole in the wall but I promise itās better than most upscale restaurants in Pensacola, and so affordable with good portions. Chicken shawarma platter is my go to š we have dined in and done take out and itās always good!
My husband and I had a great experience. The staff was great and attentive and the food was hot and fresh. The kafta was delicious, my husband loved the mixed grill plate and the gyro pizza was amazing. Will definitely come back if we're ever back in the area...
Just returned from a lunch run with a pick-up order and once again the experience at Jordan Valley was top tier. While waiting on my order Shelly suggested trying the lamb. After placing an additional order and having a try I would absolutely recommend their lamb. Very, very tasty and will certainly lead me to order more on future visits. Can't say enough about the staff, particularly Shelly, Madison and KK. Such wonderful people. Engaging and friendly with a quick smile. So glad to live/work near this establishment. Across the board 5 stars...
We stopped in for a late dinner. Seated quickly, sever was busy but not a bad wait. Food came out very fast. The taste was excellent , hot and fresh. We enjoyed the hookah. The place was busy and appeared short staffed, however the effort and attitude of the staff made up for the wait. Very enjoyable experience. We will be back.
Weāve dined here four times now and the food is always great and plentiful. Started with the Tiropita, light and crunchy. Wife ordered a side of Baba ghanoush , Smokey, a little chunky, really good. I had the lamb shish platter, lamb seasoned nicely and very tender. Wife had kofta platter, taste was very good. She said the lamb was better, she perferred the whole meat over the ground meat of the kofta. We always have left overs. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the pronunciation of some of the dishes. Hummus is really good. Highly recommend.
Cozy, unassuming Mediterranean restaurant in Pensacola, FL. The outside looks like a dive and you'd miss the sign a few times if you didnt have a spotter. But, when you finally enter the restaurant, you are transported to a different place.
The ambiance is calm and relaxed. The food is some of the most delicious Mediterranean or Lebanese food I've ever had. I loved the appetizer sampler -- my wife and I were able to split one between us and then we each ordered a meat combo "mix grill" platter, but splitting would have been fine as the portions are substantial. I especially loved their spicy hummus and tender kafka.
Dessert options are available. The lemon cello cheesecake is mislabeled as it is actually some kind of layer cake -- if you are expecting cheesecake you might be disappointed -- but it was surprisingly refreshing and delicious and I'd definitely order it again.
Last but not least, the service was excellent. I highly recommend Jordan Valley and my wife and I will be back.
First off, JV is our favorite restaurant in all Pensacola, this place never disappoints. We do lunch here about 3 times a month, we always get the Mixed Grill and a small side of hummus, which is not small at all, this dish is so flavorful, 4 different kinds of meat, and you can swap it out to change your meat choice. If you are watching your carbs, it's perfect, just don't eat the pitas. Both come with Pitas and this is more than enough for 2-3 people to eat. The last two times in...I had Loretta as my attendant...she remembered my name from my previous visit, which is incredible, not only is she new, but she is amazing. The place doesnt look extremely appealing but don't let that deter you, the prices are reasonable especially when they are big enough to share...believe you me, you won't regret it! Love love love this place!
