First impression is the place is tired, functional but tired. Went on a Sunday, place was busy with the after church crowd. Second impression was the place kinda dirty, table was not cleaned very well, sticky to the touch. Wife was not impressed with the school cafeteria table ware and plastic glasses. The plastic table cloth made things worse as the plastic cup sweated and the oil from the dressing migrated around the table.
We ordered the anti-pasta Italiano as the appetizer, seemed like a bunch of pre-cut deli meat from BJ’s. Tomato and capers we’re good, best part by far is the Italian dressing, not sure why they serve it in to-go sauce cups. I had the veal parmigiana and the wife had the Saltiboccoa alla romana. Breading on the parmigiana seemed absent like it was breaded a day ago. Veal was tender but the dish lacked any flavor beyond the red gravy which was extremely bland. The wine sauce on the wife’s veal sauce was very tasty but the meat also lacked breading, they use canned sliced mushrooms which does nothing for the flavor. The side pasta was cooked well but it was just doused with the same red gravy. I used the grated cheese, salt, pepper and red pepper to bring out some taste. A slice of lemon for the veal is fairly common and some fresh herbs would help.
The one bright spot was the wait staff and the hustle, teamwork and great attitude they have. I don’t know if they are part of the Franco family, but they were doing their best to please everyone. I witnessed some people the managent should be very proud to have. Maybe if they had a front end manager to make sure the busser has the right tools to keep the tables clean and making sure the restroom is more presentable, just saying.
For the price we paid for our meal I don’t think the food is worth it.

As soon as this pathetic salad showed up I knew I had made a mistake by coming here. Bland, watery alfredo sauce, and chicken that was mushy and also flavorless. From the identical slices and grill marks I’m guessing it was frozen. My husbands dish was similarly bland. I don’t really care about decor, but the awful, banged up cafeteria silverware was not pleasant to use.

Place outside look horrible I was hesitant about going in but was starving. But never judge a book by its cover! The service , atmosphere and food was phenomenal I got the risotto which had a warning saying it took about 20 mins to cook which was worth the wait! The place is also extremely clean! The only down fall they was out of kids pizza and had to get a small pizza which was $8 I think I really wish they could have charged us a kids price since my little girl only at like 2 slices. We ended up paying $77 for a family of 4 which was a bit pricey. But It was worth it because everything was fantastic. I do recommend! We will be going back!!

This place serves super good food. My expectations were more than met. Franco's is that experience. I will come back for more food. Well worth real Italian food. Atmosphere and service on point.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Pensacola. Meatballs with fresh sauce are a great addition to any meal. Fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. Consistently good food at a good price.

It was a good little spot. In my opinion the Italian food was average but the fried shrimp was good! They were plump and fried to a perfect texture and golden color. The service wasn't as good as I would've hoped for a party of 40-45. They should've brought in more staff to help. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.
