Such great food. I had the mullet box it was loaded. Picture is halfway so don't let that fool you. Excellent service, they do cash and check. Mullet was cooked to perfection! Mullet sandwich also is supreme.

Hidden gem some good fried catfish, mullet, grouper. Food was fresh piping hot. They were friendly and fast, portions were generous. Took away a star because cash or check only. I also wish there was more places to sit we live far and ate in our car as the two tables were taken.
I have only been there twice but the seafood was fresh hot and delicious. I tried the mullet fingers and cheese grits it was my first time ever trying mullet I enjoyed it. I don't like grits usually but tried these after reading a review, Im glad I did!

Chet's has become one of the best southern seafood eatery's ever. The menu is great and the food is superb. My only complaint is once in a while, I can't get in, just look at the parking lot, says everything.
The best southern fried mullet money can buy! ALWAYS freshly caught locally. Don't forget to try the fried marinated grouper, cheese grits, baked beans and Cole slaw! Oh and you can't leave without eating the homemade banana pudding!

This unassuming Pensacola produces the best fried mullet and hush puppies in town. On open Thurs-Sat for lunch. Be prepared to wait.
The marinated grouper is delicious! Hubby had a catfish poboy was also absolutely delicious! So glad we found Chet's. Glad we read the reviews so we knew how to order. Blue crab claws will be my next choice

Nothing fancy..eat where the locals eat kind of place...while everyone raves about the mullet, my go to is the marinated fried grouper...like eating fried marhsmellows but better..closed most days at this location but you have to go here the original location...bring your own wine so you can splurge
