Celebrated mum’s birthday here. The view is spectacular. The food, service and ambience was excellent!!! I enjoyed the seafood platter. I also recommend the calamari ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The service was great. We had a wonderful waitress, she's only been there about 4 months and is also a CNA.. wish I could remember her name. I had the Fried Shrimp platter and it was amazing. The price was a little higher ($22) than I normally spend but the plate was full with shrimp. I also got a side salad, baked potato and it came with 2 hush puppies. It was well worth the price. I had leftover shrimp and it tasted just as good the next day headed up in the microwave. I would definitely recommend it.

The bisque was very good, fried shrimp cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The view compliments the great food.

Returned to the area and didn't really get an opinion on this restaurant, so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did, we sat at the inside bar for a few cocktails which were excellent. The two bartenders, MO and ???? were very attentive. I had the grilled Mahi and it was very good. Highly recommend this place. Thx

Beautiful view, great food and service, what more do you need! This was our first visit and we sat at the bar outside. Trinity took great care of us! Both bartenders were great and entertaining. We split the filet and shrimp dinner, it was excellent and plenty for two people. This will be a regular spot for us now that we live in the area.

Went with the family for an early dinner and it was great. The portions were a good size and tasty. The wife had the red snapper and the kiddo had shrimp Alfredo. The service was good and the location was great. I would definitely add it to the list of places to eat when we come back.

Good oysters. I didn't know they didn't come in the shell. The blackened ones were way too salty. Other than that, no complaints. The key lime pie was good too

We came on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly and had drink orders in shortly. The wait staff is very friendly.
Definitely recommend the Seafood Bisque! It was incredible!! The Mahi Mahi as well as the Shrimp were very delicious.

Views are incredible and the food was pretty good! The onion rings are a must!! I ordered the Cajun oysters at first but it just wasn’t to my liking, the server took them away and brought me some fried shrimp which were great! No fuss and he was super nice! Based on the service alone we will be back for sure!!

My family visited Oyster Bar on our last night of vacation to Perdido Key, FL last week and tried this awesome restaurant. My 15 YO son and I had the special which was Red Fish - DELISH!!! I cannot believe it's taken me 30 years of going to the Emerald Coast to try Red Fish!!! This is a must go to! Will def be back!!!
Joe Buckhaults
3 of 4 dishes were great. Oysters Rockefeller - fantastic, ruby red steamed shrimp - fantastic (ask for lemon), coconut shrimp - fantastic. Shrimp salad - not fantastic.

The view from the restaurant was very nice. We sat outside and with the fans it was comfortable. I order a Caesar salad with my meal. The salad was the worst salad I have ever had. The gross part is I know why, the salad was at least a couple of days old. If you have ever brought a salad home from a restaurant and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of days that is exactly what it was. The croutons were soaky and chewy. The lettuce had the look that it was sitting in water for a few days. The seafood platter was about 7.99 quality, but sadly it costed 23. Not good won’t be back.

easily the best restaurant in the perdido area - I've lived here for 12 years and always send out of towners here. the atmosphere is very nice and more upscale than any other in this area, this is not a beach dive joint - service has been great every time i have been there and the food is fresh and flavorful - the fish house in pensacola could learn a lot from this place - overlooks the intercoastal waterway and boats park at the dock - this place is so much more than just a fried fish joint

Highly recommended if you near Perdido Key

Went on a Friday, pretty good live musicians who were taking song requests. Has a good view of the marina if you eat outside. Inside feels like a cramped ship cabin so I would recommend the deck, preferably the side that gets the breeze as there are no fans. Food was pricey but the market grouper was delicious and locally caught. Good wait staff and a good experience overall.
Katie Kamm
Long wait over 30 min! Then took over an hour for food. That was way over priced!as a child coming to Perdido key always meant going to the oyster bar the night we came in...after this trip we will not be back food has gone down hill and frankly the shrimp basket was way better!
Redbeenznrice
Was expecting a beachy vibe considering location . It's more of a fine dining atmosphere without the fine dining food. Not terrible... Food was decent. Cocktails and service good. It was just boring, really. Stuffy atmosphere. We had a larger table -- laughing, having a lil fun, nothing crazy -- and were met with stares and snarls from other patrons who I suppose were WANTING a more sedate, quiet experience. Won't be back -- only because when I'm on vacation I'd like to have a fun time--not dine with my grandparents.

We had called ahead to see if they had any available tables for dinner. The restaurant said there were tables and they would stop taking customers at 9:30. We show up at the restaurant at 9:15 and tell the hostess we would like a table. She walked away from the stand and comes back 5 minutes later and says were closed, rolls her eyes at us, and says they can close whenever they want. We live in the area and have been to the Perdido Oyster Bar many of times but last night they lost some of their regular customers. The hostess was just down right rude and needs an attitude adjustment. The foods typically good but they need happier people working. We went to Fishermans Corner instead and the staff was delightful!
Brian Minardi
Food here was excellent. The stuffed grouper was a must if you go. It's a little pricey most entrees are 25 and up. Sit outside if you can the boats are fun to look at coming in and out. Definitely would go back. 1 negative was they brought the food out as soon as the salads came out.

Very disappointed. I've been here in the past and remembered it being very tasty, not so much this time. The "lump" crabmeat was a joke on the fish dish. It was more like crabmeat off a crab claw. And the hollandaise sauce... Just no, more like honey mustard with some of the same seasonings. They also couldn't cook a good baked potato 😑 my father got a seafood platter and the shrimp were bland. To add a good note, the chocolate cake was very good, but come on who can mess that up.

Service was fine. Location is wonderful. I went there after spending the afternoon at Big Lagoon park. (I actually spotted this place through binoculars as I was birding.) We ordered two dozen oysters on the half shell. The first came with sauce, but no horseradish; the second came with horseradish, but no lemon. Strange, but not a big deal. The oysters were from Louisiana and tasted quite fresh. They were the perfect size. However, at $14.99 a dozen, the price was a bit steep. And that is my sole complaint (which, of course, will never be addressed). Your typical tourist-trap seafood joint, but with well-cleaned, fresh oysters.

It has been years since the last time we had been to this restaurant. In fact, it has changed hands at least two times since we had been, so we decided to give it a try, since we were in the vicinity. First let me say that this is a nice place located directly on the inter coastal waterway at the foot of the Perdido Bridge. I decided on the fresh grilled grouper with the crawfish cream sauce and my wife decided on the stuffed grouper. I was disappoint in my dish, as when it arrived the sauce was on the side in a cold bowl with cold sauce. I had expected that the sauce would at least be hot if not hot and over the grouper filet. I found both the fish and the sauce to be very bland. My wife's stuffed grouper was at least hot, however the stuffing that they used was so over salted that you couldn't really taste anything but the salt. We both commented that we had gotten a much better meal last weekend in Destin for almost half the price. I guess there really was a reason that we had not been to the restaurant in so many years. We have no plans to return here.

The service by our server was excellent!
The food was bland and the fish was freezer burnt, the manager took the food replaced the baked potato and brought the se piece of fish back!!! And it still tasted bad....management needs work! Won't be back!
Matt McGrew
Our party had 13 people and we were seated quickly. The appetizers were great however when the entrees came I felt like the food was over seasoned. All the fried food tasted very good, but if you stray away from that you may run into the same experience.
The raw oysters were delicious! The atmosphere was nice as we watched boats and dolphins cruise up and down the waterway. As for the entrées, we ordered the grouper, coconut shrimp, shrimp and grits, and filet. The shrimp and grits were good. The filet was not cooked to order (medium, rather than medium-rare), but the taste was ok. The grouper and coconut shrimp were over-cooked. Our server didn't know what beverages the restaurant served and she spilled oyster juice on the table and floor. We had to ask for the table to be wiped and the floor never was wiped while we were there. The service was horribly slow Our glasses sat empty several minutes between refills. The manager (?) stopped by our table to ask if everything was ok, and when we told her of our concerns, she walked off without another word. She did, however, take one of the groupers off our ticket. This IS called an oyster bar and that would be all I ordered if I were forced to eat there again.

My husband and I ate at Oyster Bar last night. We had been on our way back to Auburn last year and recalled a good experience and great food. This year we stayed with family and were surprised to hear of their multiple terrible trips here (kept trying it again because it was close and wanted to like it) that were terrible. Bad food and mediocre service to boot. We should listened. We waited for about 30 minutes for our food and my "daily special" mahi-mahi was embarrassingly awful. I received a flat, dense, odd tasting piece of fish that was drenched in a barbecue like sauce (it was originally relayed as being jerk rubbed, not sauce soaked). While I was still cutting up my daughters food, the manager came to the table to check on us and we said it was good based on our appetizer. After she left I took a bite of my fish and could not eat another. Our sweet waitress whisked it away and I just ate my green beans. No offer for another piece or a different entree, and then the bill comes- where we were charged for an entire poor quality meal that wasnt eaten. The manager came back and acted very aloof as to why her personal table visit (which she prided herself on) didn't make up for just eating the cost (ourselves) of a bad entree. Awful food (right on the water where they should have the best at their fingertips) and very bad service.

Food was great and tasty. The staff definitely needs more training. Our waiter forgot about us multiple times and after ordering dessert, we waited 20 minutes for key lime pie and we couldn't find our waiter and finally had to ask someone else to get him for us. He was nice, but he definitely wasn't the best. Not sure if we will go back or not, in the future. My review for this place is: "so-so"
Sandibeaches4me
Horrible. We are locals and very seldom it here because the food is way over pricedpriced and not good! We stopped in on a Sunday because my husband wanted oysters and it is the closest place to our house. We arrived when they opened and wanted to sit outside. It had rained earlier and they said outside seating was not available but I insisted. This is perhaps the only positive about the Oyster Bar is the view of the water! The Manager was extremely rude saying by us sitting outside we were putting her waitress at risk of falling but she would seat us anyway! We left and sat outside at the Shrimp Basket on the Key! We will never give this restaurant another try nor recommend it to anyone. When locals are mistreated it does ruin your business!

We absolutely love The Oyster Bar. We come monthly and are always warmly welcomed. We sometimes come
By boat and dock up to the pier. Their food is always fresh. I usually get the mahi key west style but also love their ahi tuna. My hubby usually gets the tuna steak and the calamari. They have a decent wine selection and a cool atmosphere. The booths are awesome to sit in when you have just two people. We have never had a problem with a wait time even when they are very busy. I would highly recommend this family friendly restaurant!

Terrible Service. We had a party of eight at the Oyster Bar tonight. This was quite possibly the worst service I have ever had. It took 30 mins to get two bottles of wine to the table. During that time, neither water nor bread were served!! Four tables came in after us, including another 8 top. ALL of them were served before us AND got their food before us!!! The gumbo, though tasty, was COLD. We sent it back 3 times before they got it hot. We asked for the manager when our entrees arrived & they were cold as well. The manager, Britney, said she would "take care" of some of the bill. When we got our tickets, she had given us 25% off THE GUMBO ONLY. We were there for literally 3.5 hours and you want to give us $1.15 off the bill? She finally took 15% off the total bill, but a genuine apology or comping the wine would have gone farther. We have been customers for many years, but will never be back after tonight!

A Dilapidated Dining Experience. We have been visiting the Oyster Bar for 12 years and it has had its ups and downs (in both service and food quality). In December - the food was excellent and served promptly, but tonight it reached a new nadir that would disgrace any army field chow line. The table service was as periodic as the lunar cycle (load up on drinks when they do show up) and wait 40 minutes to place your order for entrees. I ordered a Pittsburgh style ribeye that arrived completely uncooked with a smattering of seasoning - it did not approach any sort of flame. The filet mignon was obviously some sort of heavily marinated dry chuck tip that tasted strongly of vinegar. The blackened oscar arrived cold. The companion that ordered the filet was so shell shocked that he skipped any sort of entree, beat a path to dessert and received an obvious slice of store bought key lime pie. The ribeyed arrived cooked properly but the blackened oscar arrived warm but undercooked (translucent) but at that point the most appealing part of the Oyster Bar was the exit door. In addition, the owner brags highly of having a vegetable medley but the only thing that was ever offered (EVER in any visit) was string beans. At 25+ minimum an entree, I would wager one would receive better value by crossing the bridge and going the the Burger King on the left or making the trip to Red Lobster in the "come as you are" section of Pensacola on Navy Blvd. In summation, if there is justice in the Universe - the chef should be permanently exiled to Newark NJ. Avoid this place by at least 150 ft.

Disappointed. Went Monday night of Labor Day. It wasn't very crowded but there was a 25 minute wait 'tops' the hostess told us. Many empty tables and we waited 45 minutes. After we were seated we waited 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Food was not that great, never got the onion rings we ordered but they were on our check. When we asked the waitress to take them off our bill she asked if we wanted them 'to go'! Wasted over two hours of our time!

Went here on a Sunday. It was fairly crowded but we were seated immediately and out drink orders were taken and delivered right away. We ordered the fried calamari and oysters on the half shell. Didn't wait long for these. My husband asked the waitress for horseradish for his oysters and the she brought out Worchestershire sauce. Really!!! After that we waited about 35 mins for our entrees. Which weren't very good. My husband had the seafood sampler(broiled) my daughter had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo- which she said was rather tasteless. I had the flounder that was stuffed with some "seafood" mixture. The mixture was tasteless so I scooped it out bit the fish was delicious. Perfectly cooked and moist inside. We drive all the way from Pensacola to eat here and we can unanamiously say it was not worth the trip. It's a shame we wanted to like it. Heard so many good things about it.

Not again. Weak service weak food

Customer Service or the lack there of....... So disappointed! We ordered oysters for an appetizer and never saw them. Had to ask for water and never got a refill. It was not so busy that it was understandable either. But I guess the thing that really got me the most was after filling out the comment card and handing it to the manager, who was flitting around the floor all night, we NEVER even got an acknowledgement of any problem. Oh, and I also got a paper cut from the butcher paper table covers. The bus boy was nice enough to get me a bandaid. The sad thing is.... Next day I am still thinking about what a bad experience it was. I didn't expect to be "pampered" but just a modicum of customer service.
Brittany
Way overpriced. Way over rated. Upset we chose to eat there.

I Waited 19 Years. In December 1994, I was bringing a boat from Ft Lauderdale back to Galveston and had to tie up at the Oyster Bar dock. I went to the restaurant and had a fantastic meal. After over 19 years, I returned on April 21. My wife and I had dinner and it was still excellent. The gumbo was close to the best I'd ever had. Dinner as a whole was very good. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. I hope I don't have to wait another 19 years before I return.

Super fresh. Everything we ate was amazing. My personal favorite was the shrimp and grits.

Very good. I am a unique person in that I lived or worked around the Oyster Bar for 30 years. Two years ago I began to manage the restaurant. I am not the only manager but one of three. I eat here 3 to 5 times a week. I have found that we are consistently excellent. There have been times in the past that I would not have been able to report this but TODAY the food is not only great but a great value as well.
Stop in a give us a try, you will not be sorry.

Sub par food. I live approximately 5 miles from Oyster Bar, so I love going there to eat and go often. I have noticed in about the last 6 months that the food has declined once again. I ordered a shrimp and oyster platter, got 3 overly salted shrimp and several very, very tiny oysters. I called over the manager and asked her if she would pay $12.99 for the amount of food I had. She said no and understood my concerns as we were not the 1st to complain. She had no idea why they were getting such tiny oysters. She did ask if she could bring me something different, I said no(honestly was afraid whatever came out would still to salty) and asked that she just deduct the shrimp and oysters. She did deduct %50 off of my dinner, which left me paying $6.50 for a small baked potato. LOL, 1st time that I haven't had the whole amount deducted. But that's ok, I did eat the potato just kinda thought if was high to pay $6.50 for a potato. Needless to say, I won't be going back there to eat again until I start hearing from locals that they have improved on the food. Also, one last thing, unless you love eating green beans don't order the seasonal vegetables, as it never changes. So wish they would do a nice steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrot sauté occasionally at least. I would rather have vegetables than baked potato.
Dan
Great seafood loved the tuna, flounder
Paul
Great restaurant, alway eat here when we come down here but now the charge extra $$$ if you want cheese on a baked potato???? That's pretty weak.
Gary White Tiger Ballard
Oysters Rockafella, BBQ Shrimp, and Crab stuffed jalapeños ..... Some good flavor. Served hot and clean waterway atmosphere ..... Will be back!!!!!

Great dinner for both of us!. We have not been here for a while, but will be back soon. Very nice dinner, my husband had shrimp and grits and I had the broiled seafood platter with an upgrade to grouper for the fish (very important and well worth the extra cost for people who love local fresh gulf fish!)
The food and the service was great and the view is always wonderful.
Stacey
Pretty good and a nice elegant ambience that overlooks the eager. Service was good. Food was good but not great. For less fancy tables and building but GREAT food go across to Fisherman's Market.

Seated right away. Waited for 20 minutes and had 4 servers walk past us numerous times and never once acknowledged us or took our drink order... We got up and walked out... Not impressed. Considering there was no wait that was ridiculous!

I just recently ate here and for the price I paid It was defiently not worth it. The food is okay but for the price your paying it is not worth it b

Amazing. We were going to dinner but didn't know where and now we are so happy we stopped here first. Drinks seemed a little pricy but the food was perfect and worth the money.

I had the fresh blackened grouper(comes from Joe Patti's in Pensacola) and my wife had the Amberjack. I knew I liked it, and it was her first time trying the fish. It was great. Everything was cooked perfect, and very moist and tender, and fresh.

Key lime pie was very good also. A must visit when in the area.
Catherine
Dear sweet baby Jesus, this place is awful.

Awesome food! Be sure to try the bushwacker and the bananas foster!
Rob
Excellent dinner. Wife and I tried the Oyster Bar for the first time tonight. We ordered the smoked tuna dip for an app, shrimp and grits, and a Mahi special with jerk sauce. Food was excellent and our service too. I was surprised with how quick the food came out because they had seated a huge party while we were waiting for our table. Good atmosphere, great view.
DA
I hoped it would be good... It wasn't. I took my family to PKOB for dinner, hoping that I had found a place to eat for years to come (first visit, as I just moved to the area). I was drawn by the location of the restaurant, which offers a great view. We ordered a broad variety of dishes, ranging from fried or broiled, to grilled and sauced. Not a single one of the entrées was hot, with only one or two barely warm. The sides were also either lukewarm or cool, with the exception of the green beans. The green beans were good, as was the coleslaw (okay, this was cold, as it should be). I'm certain it is not too much to ask for fresh food to either be hot, or at least reasonably warm--if it is indeed fresh. I mean, you have to cook this if it's fresh, so it would be hot when finished cooking, right? The service was also quite poor, with the server being MIA for most of the evening. Very nice and pleasant personality, just not present and accounted for. Perhaps the food would have been better, or hotter, if the service was reasonably good. Unfortunately, I'll never know, as I won't go back. That's a shame, as I am loyal to places that go the extra mile, or at least consistently are pretty good. If the owner writes a mea culpa I might try again, as it would at least show that they listen and care. Otherwise, I guess I'll keep searching for a good seafood restaurant to frequently patronize.
Kevin Hilton
Website menu is 3-4 years old. Went to Oyster Bar website and saw a horseradish tilapia that sounded wonderful....drove over from Alabama for dinner only to find that they do not have the tilapia on the menu anymore......the staff said the menu on their website is "three or four years old" and it has been reported to management several times. Got blackened mahi mahi and while it was good the portion was very small for the price. Server was very nice.

On the fence about this place. Nothing really impressed me and nothing got me really excited for this place. Decent seafood. Their crab stuffed jalapenoes taste as if they were frozen. Come to fund out next day Joe Patti has the exact same thing packaged and frozen.

Must Go. This is the best place to eat in the Perdido/Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. The seafood is fresh and the steaks are delicious. Employees care about what they're doing and make sure your dining experience is top-notch. Also a fun atmosphere to go eat. drink and listen to music on weekend nights. I'll be back, often!

Oyster Bar. Really good seafood place by the beach. Great place to eat with your family or to get a drink. Very clean and friendly environment with great service. Excellent food and some of the best char-broiled oysters I've ever had. I'm from the New Orleans area so that says a lot. I would highly recommend eating here, it's the best in the area.

Best Seafood in Perdido. The Oyster Bar has always been my favorite place to eat in Perdido Key! Amazing food and always great service! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates exceptional seafood and excellent service.

Favorite Local Restaurant. This is my favorite (and now also my husband's favorite) restaurant in the area! Others can't compare to the delicious food, fast and attentive service, great drinks, and fun atmosphere. This season we enjoyed listening to bands play on the weekends while we dined with an absolutely gorgeous view of the water and the sunset. My family and I have pulled up here for years on our boat after a daytime or evening ride, and have never been disappointed. Blackened grouper is my favorite dish, along with the shrimp and grits. Oysters rockefeller are also a favorite (and I don't like Oysters normally). I've ordered over half of the items on the menu at some point, and have never met a dish I don't like. This place gets rave reviews from this picky eater!
Tyler Lamar Lewis
Wonderful dining experience! Great location in Perdido Key with a breathtaking view of the water. My personal favorites are the raw oysters and the fried grouper. The staff provided excellent service which is usually uncommon in beach towns. The bar offers a great selection of mixed drinks, wine, and beer. Overall one of the best places on the Gulf Coast. Don't forget to check out Tailwalk Apparel and Gallery on the first floor, awesome shirts and paintings!
Peter
Very relaxed enjoyable experience. Great place for both a nice quick lunch while at the beach, and this place has a great family atmosphere for dinner as well as a white table cloth area for more of a romantic setting. Food is no question best on the panhandle including the service. The mahi mahi and grouper are my favorite. Not to mention the comfy outside bar especially when there is live
music! Highly recommend the Oyster Bar and I know I will be back soon. Be sure and check the artwork downstairs at Tailwalk Offshore Appare!

Absolute favorite place to go when I'm down at the beach!!! There's a great atmosphere, bands on the weekends, wonderful service, and good drinks!
Plus... The food is to die for! Thanks for the great service oyster bar employees!

Absolutely delicious! We didn't have a wait and we were treated like family! Our waitress was friendly and suggested the best food and dessert! It Is a beautiful marina setting at sunset! Can't wait to go back!!

Some of the best food I've had in perdido key! Wait was short for 3 people.. And I recommend drinking a Bahama momma while you wait! I ordered the bay scallops and seafood bisque, both were delicious! Service was good as well! I will definitely be back!
Dan
Great location good food. Worth waiting for a table looking over the water.

Nice place. We had a party of 16 so I understand that this is a large party, service was slow. Once you get past that all was good. I reccomend the blackened fish Oscar. Some people in the party got steak and said it was cooked really well. Overall they did ok with our party
John
Simply fantastic!. We eat there at least once a week....crab claws in wine sauce! Broiled seafood platter! Everything is good! Lunch prices very reasonable. Very clean, excellent service!

Absolutely unreal! Best food on the gulf coast. Started with oysters Rockefeller, ceaser salad, shrimp and grits, and finished it off with a bite of the most unreal bananas foster. Each item was amazing

Nice Evening Out. Maybe it is because we were in the off season, but we had exceptional service last night and great food.

I had a half dozen raw oysters. Three were medium sized and three were quite large. None of them were stingy.

My wife and I both had the broiled flounder (unstuffed). The top was scored into bite-sized pieces to help it cook all the way through. It was perfectly done and generously sized. The green beans with a garlic butter sauce were a perfect accompaniment.

An added plus is the water view.
Mesa Carlson
We loved it..get the whole flounder broiled..we also liked pan fried grouper..place is great..
In Like Flynt
To call this place an oyster bar is a joke. The size and quality of the oysters here are insulting to a New Orleanian. The broiled seafood platter on the otherhand was very good and affordable. Very nice change considering every other seafood place around only has fryers to cook with.

Food could have been better for the prices. Somewhat disappointed and would not be inclined to return.

Excellent seafood! Very good service. Pleasant atmosphere over water or inside. Cute t shirts as well. Such a nice experience :)

Horrible service. We had a party of 12 and it took nearly an hour to get our food then most of it was cold when we finally got it. The scenery was nice and some of the food was okay. I could hardly recommend it.
AlishaD
Over priced and just ok. Although the atmosphere is nice and the service is alright it isn't enought to ever get me back at this place. The steamed shrimp was over cooked the raw oysters were good but how can you mess those up. The recommended special was just ok. For what you are paying for this is def not worth it.
Erik Tims
Great food and awesome location. Seafood was nothing terribly special but still very good and what one would expect. Desert was great, get the pecan pie. Service on the other hand left something to be desired. Waitress showed up once when the food came out and at the end for desert. No drink refills until we asked. In the end good food bad service.

Undecided. My husband and I went on a Saturday evening. We were seated quickly, and found the atmosphere very pleasant: well-lit, not too noisy, plenty of outdoor seating though we opted to stay indoors. The dinner crowd overall was decidedly older: just an F.Y.I. for the rowdy, young types.

The menu overall looked well-balanced, with lots of fried or healthier options, depending on your persuasion. Our server was attentive, but painfully task-oriented. She winced out a smile at the end of the evening, but it seemed like she was interested in turning over her tables as quickly as possible- and not so much making us feel welcome.

My husband ordered Oysters Rockefeller, though he really wanted steamed oysters. They said they were out of steamed oysters however...

I ordered an Asian shrimp salad, which was pretty lackluster. Literally, it was a GIANT bed of iceberg lettuce with (plenty of ) popcorn shrimp, some fried noodles, and about 8 tiny chunks of mango. Oh- and dressing. Sure, the serving size was generous, but it was so uncreative I couldn't care to eat more than 1/3 of it.

They do bring you bread before your meal, which is always a nice bonus. My husband and I are still undecided, since we think it would be worth a second visit for some more classic steamed seafood selections. I just felt like the salad was a waste of money.

Great view and food. We love this place and have come here for years. Great seafood, Alfredo, and key lime pie.

Awesome food. The BBQ shrimp is off the hook. Very clean place I recommend it to anyone.
