The XL is huge. For only $2 more than the large, it's a substantial size difference. The marinara sauce is way too runny for the bread sticks, and you have to go to Hooters next door to order ranch. Overall, the pizza was really good and there's a good amount of tables outside to enjoy the late night music!
OK, so I am usually not a pizza girl, but OMG, the calzone is to die for!! From jump, you have this amazing buttery crust that just is so devine.. the cheese and spinach are also buttery and just keep you wanting more. The staff is courteous and kind. And have no issue bringing you your order when you sit outside!! A definite gem on the boardwalk!
Visiting from Chicago and probably the best pizza you can get in this area. Girl at the front register was on her game with the orders and the food was hot. Typically pizza from out of state for me is garbage so I was surprised. More like a sabarros pizza back home. No complaints loved the area. My little man needed a break from the heat.
Great pizza on the boardwalk area.
Able to customize pizza to cover what the kids and adults wanted to eat. One extra large pizza was enough for us.
Steaming hot, oven fresh handmade pizza at an affordable price served promptly! Enough parking space available. You can sit indoors or outdoors. Loved it!
We drove 600 miles to get a taste of Papas Pizza. We haven't found anything that compares to the flavor in the 8 years that we have been away from the beach.
The pizza we ordered at the Gulf Breeze location was PERFECT! EXACTLY the flavor we have been chasing and yearning for since we moved away from here.
The staff that prepared and served our pie was amazing as well. Thank you Becca and Logan!
Definitely an A+ experience.
5 Starts isn't enough.
Perfecto!
The pizza, the calzones, the Stromboli and the service and the great. Super friendly, generous & super fresh! Definitely a place you should visit if you are in the area. Keep up the great work!
To the bad review by a lady named Angela that said something about this pizza place ruining her first night in Pensacola, don’t blame it on the pizza or the sauce. You are obviously the problem…so rude when people blanket their personal problems with hateful reviews for small businesses that are doing their best to provide a quality service or product.
Great location, easy to access.
The pizza was wonderful thin crust browned to perfection. It didn’t have a lot of sauce which I liked. It was carry out, ready in less than fifteen minutes.
I would recommend this place.
Small place at the beach boardwalk. Has pizza by the slice and by the pie. Husband and I got a slice and a Greek salad. Both were actually very good. The pizza has thin crust and it is nice and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Greek salad was tasty with balsamic dressing. Would eat this again when I come back to Pensacola.
Hey, this was pretty dang good and I’m not even a pizza lover. I liked how crispy the crust was and I liked the balance and the taste. 1 less star bc all the toppings and all the sauce slides off if you pick it up while it’s fresh. Gotta hold it super carefully to eat it without it all falling off. But I did like the flavor. We are outside which was nice but I walked inside and there was nowhere to dispose of the pizza box and it was helluh cramped inside.
We picked up pizza to go and it was delicious! We got the Frank Sinatra.
I really liked this pizza. It was super thin and delicious, just the way we liked it. The staff were awesome and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more. We had the pepperoni and cheese pizza with breadsticks. Very reasonable price for the quality of ingredients and good customer care.
Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Almost everything was handmade; seating inside was suspended due to Covid-19, but seating outside was spacious. Food and drinks were brought out, and the staff was not only safe during this pandemic but also extremely polite, humourous and respectful. The wait on a Saturday night was around 20 minutes for my large order, but the wait was entirely worth it. Will definitely be a repeat customer!!
Friendly staff and good pizza! After looking for a late dinner and everything closed we Found this place on the boardwalk. We ordered the xl pizza calzone and some drinks.
It’s probably not the best pizza in the Panhandle, but after a day on the beach it does fit the bill for charging you back up. The NY style is good. The crust is crispy and the sauce is rich. Old word style pepperoni has just enough spice to wake up your taste buds. I would come back.
The small dine in area is pretty nice to escape the heat and maybe even catch a ballgame on your phone. Service was fast and courteous. I’ve never seen a server so committed to being excellent at her job. It’s definitely with a try.
This place a nice and cozy place to have a bite of Pizza. The pizza was tasty. The dough was tossed by a skillful cook. There are not many tables inside which during hot summer is a problem sometimes. Inside is old and needs a complete renovation. Although I prefer to have a good food in an ild and rusty place than a bad food in a fancy restaurant. The staff look really young ( college students) and friendly. They have two sizes: large and extra-large.A large pizza was more than enough for us ( two guys). They have vegetarian options. They also serve beer. The place is small, so it might be a little hard for the wheelchair, but there’s no steps.
Absolutely love this place, so much we went twice during our visit. The pizza was delicious and the service and staff were great. Thanks for a great meal.
