Great lively Cafe with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The place was packed when we visited but it was only a short wait to be seated at the bar. My latte was good, not burnt like a lot of places do. Service was fast and friendly and the Cafe is filled with colourful art which gave the place a great feel. The handbag hook under the bar was great! I didn't know it was there until I dropped my bag and one of the lovely staff were quick to pick it up for me!
There is limited parking here, but there is a parking lot nearby across the road, but its not free.
The legends of this place online are all correct. Steak and eggs, eggs Benedict with their homemade hollandaise and homemade hot sauce were EXTRAORDINARY! Don’t forget to bring some swag home, like their heavy, thick coffee mugs or a hat or fresh roasted coffee beans! Kim was my server and she was amazing, so personal and attentive.
If you are ever at Pensacola Beach, you need to come eat here! My son has told me about this place for years, and we finally made it.
This place stays busy so make sure you arrive early or be prepared to wait if you have a large party. They definitely try to move things along quick. Everyone was so friendly.
Everyone's food around me looked so delicious. I wished I hadn't started my "eating healthy" because everything they bought out looked so delicious.
My son really recommends the potatoes...they didn't have much of their homemade hot sauce left, but whatever we tasted was delicious.
Parking can be difficult to find since there are like 2 other places to ear around there and it's one direction....if you are staying close by...its better to walk there and walk off all the food you ate.
I hope you enjoy it!
Breakfast here was good. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp were a little over seasoned and salty for my personal taste. My husband loved his omelet.
Happened upon this place while driving around. Decided we would give it a try. I had the Southeastern Omlet, which was very good. My wife had the shrimp and grits. The grits were excellent, but, the shrimp were a little over seasoned for her taste. She would have preferred them unseasoned. The menu did not mention how they would be cooked, (or we just missed it). They were a little spicy, so if you like milder shrimp, maybe you can request them to be cooked differebtly. We also got a single griddle cake to try, it was good but nothing special. Perhaps one of their specialty ones would have been a better choice.
Native Cafe is #1 on TripAdvisor and now we know why. This place is perfection in every way. Easily our favorite hangout in Pensacola Beach. We had brunch here on Day 1: veggie omelet with cheese grits and toast along with iced lavender coffee (omg, amazing!)--Delicious! Our server, Kelly, was just completely on-point, friendly, present. Seemed like she truly enjoyed working there. And the atmosphere was so cool and relaxed even though it was completely packed! We went back for more coffee the next morning and plan to go again our last day here. We're in love!
Great food. Great service. Fairly local, native cafe,!!! The recent remodel more than doubled the size but they still have the same great people and the same food
Native! Great spot, friendly staff, and good atmosphere. 🥓 🍳 Food was delicious and tasted like it had some quality. Menu options were adequate and the seating was well situated. They also have some cool wall decor and paintings 🖼 to check out while you wait for the food, which didn't take long at all!
Issue: servings are way too small and they serve on large plates which makes the serving look even smaller!😬 I left still a little hungry! 😌 Otherwise, great little hook up for some good breakfast.
Short review—
Great place for Breakfast and Brunch. Very busy up until ~10am so reserving ahead is reccomended. Clean and friendly place
Long review—
Food ★★★★☆-
I ate the Hungry Native. Eggs were plain so you can add what you like, toast is good, bacon is great, hashbrowns are good (diced potatoes), and Blueberry pancakes were good. Sampled the fries and they were great.
Service ★★★★☆-
Very kind, friendly, and hard-working staff. A few inaccuracies with our orders but our waiter was quick to notice and correct them.
Atmosphere ★★★★☆-
Usual diner like atmosphere with seaside aesthetic. There's a wall we sat next to of paintings that were nice to look at. Open room setting with plenty of space
Cleanliness ★★★★☆-
Very clean dining area and restrooms. Floors and tables were clean and the place had a clean smell as well
Reccomendations-
Reserve ahead for groups bigger than 6. It's busiest early so arrive earlier than when you plan on eating. Parking may be an issue so try to carpool if possible
Great place. I was at first disappointed in the serving size; however, the portions turned out to be just right. The seafood omelet and crabcake Benedict was very good. Our server was absolutely wonderful. Will go back.
A rare find on Pensacola Beach. This place is spotless; the service is efficient and friendly, and the food is great.
Not a lot of options on Pensacola Beach, so if you're picking between the few places, I can save you time: this one is the best for breakfast.
I loved this cafe! The vibe was absolutely amazing, and the environment was just incredible. The stuffed French toast was delicious! I can't wait to come back here in the future.
Cute little cafe with good breakfast. They have bar seating along with booths and tables. Service is really good, food was good and the atmosphere is nice. This is my second visit. My first time was in 2016 before I was serious about reviews. Both experiences were good.
Today I had the Hungry Native: eggs your way, bacon, ham or sausage, one pancake and choice of toast, grits or hash browns. I substituted the latter for an extra protein. The breakfast was great! My scrambled eggs were super fresh, bacon was crispy, the sausage patties were perfect and the pancake was fluffy they syrup tasted like it had a hint of berries. Unconfirmed, but very good.
$20.08, without tip, and I had leftovers to take back to the condo. Recommend this place if you’re looking for a good breakfast.
I Lov It!! Everything was perfect and Kelly was extremely pleasant. Shrimp and grits had flavor and didn’t look like a lot but with the home fries I couldn’t even finish everything it was so yummy!
Very clean and excellent food.. right quantity for breakfast.. Mindy was very helpful and accommodated our requests to custom make for vegetarians..
Good enough. I'd go back. The crab cakes weren't what I'm used to being from the East Coast but they weren't bad.
I had heard of Native Cafe, and now I can see why. The food is amazing, excellent customer service and a cool vibe. I love the local art for sale on their walls as well. I ordered the Coastal Omelet and it had to be one of the most beautiful omelets ever. It had fish, shrimp, it was amazing! The biscuit was huge and homemade as well, delicious. My son had the cream cheese stuffed French toast with a side of sausage. My mimosa was a very decent pour, they are not scared to give you champagne. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Native Cafe and I will definitely return.
Great place to eat. Get there early. Food is excellent. A local favorite restaurant
