Excellent place to kick back and relax with a cup of coffee and some delicious food. I highly recommend the maple bacon mega roll. Also the ham and Swiss on a croissant is really good heated
Awesome coffee! Great place to enjoy coffee on the beach. Amazing views. Family friendly. Good live music. Clean Environment. Nice waterfront outside seating. Highly recommended!
Yummy Coffee on the Beach. Go for the delicious coffee and friendly service, stay for the amazing views of Little Sabine Bay and surrounding waters. This is the only gourmet coffee shop on the beach. They also serve bagels, muffins, etc. A great place to escape the heat on summer days with an iced coconut latte. There is a little surf museum on the same floor with a cool collection of surfboards and art. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Check out the surf shop downstairs on the 2nd floor and stroll the docks at the marina while you're there and check out all the boats.
Best coffe ever, better than starbucks. Very friendly environment filled with great peopl that can always put a smile on your face.
Cozy, relaxed spot with good water views from all the windows and seats, making it a perfect place to hang out, read, or catch up on work. Good variety of drinks and small food options, with friendly service. They also have a selection if books on hand if you need one to read!
Love this little coffee shop we came on Sunday morning and it wa nice to hear the church music next door and look out the amazing windows. The coffee is great! Wish they had other flavors. The kids loved the blue angle and Little Bo Peep drinks! We will definitely be back next year! Read the signs and you can’t miss the coffee shop.
Overall a great place for a cup of coffee. We were here early on a Saturday morning. The store is in the third floor of a retail building which is interesting by offers some good views of the bay. The barista was pleasant and welcoming and the coffee was good. I’d certainly go back given the chance.
What a very nice set up in this cafe. Very cozy, Library for reading, Couches for lounging in comfort. You have at " Hello". Carmel Macchiato is good. Musical piano playing, lots of goodies. I was good, no sweets today.😁 Awesome for socializing.
Perfect spot for a view of the ocean while you're sipping on coffee!
I cannot say enough about the Drowsy Poet! This place is PERFECT for the vegan or non-dairy person in your life because they have a great variety of non-dairy milks including oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk and soy milk!
I love their coffee selection location and this spot has great wifi!
My fave beach chill spot. You can look out window on the water and beach to watch the people swim, kids play, or cars go by, while reading your book or doing your homework all from the comfort of AC and a warm mug in your hand. Great coffee and friendly staff. Locally owned. Parking can be a pain. But worth the visit. A hidden gem on Pensacola Beach!
A great coffee shop with beautiful views all around! The Coffee Poetchino was very good, as was the latte. My son had a strawberry banana smoothie which was all syrup based and super sweet.
We visited this coffee shop recently and we're warmly greeted. The shop has an amazing view from their outdoor seating area. Cold coffee is so good!! They also have homemade pastries to sample at the counter! Delightful place to just unwind and relax!
Wonderful oasis from tourism! 😌 🏝
Stairs or elevator to third floor provide a great view, and coffee cubes (rather than traditional ice) are a nice touch so as not to water down cold brew ☕️
So here's the dilemma: this place is so beautifully set up i wanna tell people about it, but if I do that I won't probably get to enjoy the peace and quiet which is essential to my great experience here. So here's the deal, enjoy your time at this coffee shop and do your best to shut up about it;)
Strange that my Review has disappeared...🤔
This gem of a cafe is slightly off the beaten track, looking out amongst the marina. The beverages are delicious and food well-portioned and mouthwatering😋
Best spot to write! A cozy little getaway up some stairs that feels removed from the tourist beach scene. Friendly service and good pricing.
This place is on the 3rd floor and has a great view of the water! My family and I came here most mornings of our vacation because the service was excellent and the cold brew (my go-to drink) was so smooth and light that I could drink it black! There is plenty of seating with both tables and relaxing chairs so whether you need to get some work done or just want to hang out, the seating is plentiful and appropriate. They also have cold brew ice cubes for your drinks as well as oat milk! Fantastic place!
Great little cafe that isn’t too far from the beach! You’ll have to be strategic with your parking because parking in the lot of the building is only 30 minutes. So park across the street and walk over!
It is located on the third floor of the building. Outside seating is really nice. They have hanging one person “hammocks” that you can sit and swing on outside. The inside is small but I’ve never had trouble finding a spot to sit! Their WiFi is actually really nice and never lost signal.
The food is limited, but it is a small cafe so don’t expect more than muffins and a breakfast sandwich! I recommend this cafe just for the service alone :)! I am all about service and the workers are really kind!
A "must visit" place at Pensacola Beach. They have great coffee and a relaxed, cozy atmosphere where you can watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. I'm gluten free, so I can't vouch for the food, but there are many pastry type options that my family says are yummy. Nice little out of the way place - open early.
What a beautiful coffee shop. Drowsy Poet in perched on a 3 story building next to a beautiful harbor and across the street from a popular bay area. Coffee was amazing and the inside of the shop was cute and relaxing with some stunning views of Pensacola. The staff was helpful and willing to answer questions about the surrounding area. Thanks for a great cup of Joe!
I'm glad to have found a locally owned cafe close to Pensacola Beach. Great coffee shop overlooking the sound. Nice drink menu with signature drinks named after famous poets. They also have a good selection of made from scratch pastries and a small food menu if you're hungry. I especially like that they have items available for those with food allergies. The owner is usually working and he's a great guy with a passion for what he does.
