Outstanding! First visit this past Saturday, and it was everything I hoped for.
First off, the owner hooked up a sampling of the house chili while I decided what to order. I got a Loukaniko sandwich with peppers and onions and a gyro-sausage sandwich with onions and tzatziki.
Holy. Smokes.
Both were outstanding. I ate the Loukaniko hot when I got home, and I ate the gyro-sausage sandwich the next morning, cold. Sausages were savory and delicious with a nice snap, and I like that they split them and heat them in a griddle. The rolls were perfect for the sandwich, and the peppers and onions were cooked properly without being too carmelized or sweet.
Oh, and I waited next door at the bar while they made the food. Can't beat that!
Update 04/16/18: the owners closed the restaurant to manage their new sausage business full time. So, while you can no longer buy these sandwiches here, Yanni's Sausage is available in several local restaurants (Grav South, Roy's Chicago Dog) and will also be on the shelves in Safeway Supermarkets.

Just stopped in to my annual sausages for my Superbowl party, which has been our tradition sine they opened. Great grub and great people......cant say enough!

Everything was delicious except the “lamb gyro” which didn’t taste like lamb. Nobody in our party liked it. The owners are sweet and fun.

My husband and I were in on sunday and had the Christmas special sausage sandwich and I had a gyro. Both entrees were scrumptious and off the hook. I highly recommend this place!

Francesca and Yannis are wonderful people and the sausages that they turn out are the bomb. The sausage of the month is always spectacular and it's even better that they will deliver your order to the bar next door...the Penngrove Pub.

Yaya and Yanni are wonderful folks, and their hand crafted sausages are excellent for a quick lunch or to take home for later. Wide variety, monthly specials, and - fresh or frozen - best sausages ever!

My god the sausage here is good, and don't even get me started on the greek fries. You might be tempted to order the smaller amount, but do yourself a favor and get the larger one. Trust me, you'll want it.

The sausage sandwiches are so good, I drive here from Santa Rosa just for lunch. I haven't eaten them yet but I saw their fries. The man eating them had a happy face. The Greek chili is delicious. I usually go for any special of the day and then get the garlic to go for dinner.

We stopped here because we were road weary and looking for a restaurant that was closed. Yanni and his wife took good care of us and the food was really good. He makes his own sausages and breads. I had the Greek Chili which was very good also.
