Excellent dinner - meatloaf dinner with garlic mashed potatoes & French chit pork chop with melted cheddar-jack cheese with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus and a to-die-for peanut butter pie! A nice cellection of beers on tap as well as bottle as well as a nice cellection of NY wines.
One of the best crab cake sandwiches I've ever had, at an unbeatable price. The entire menu is incredibly priced, with plenty of options. The staff is incredibly friendly, even to a new face.
Expected better as the prime rib dinner didappointing. Very fatty and chewy and tough. Garlic mashed luke warm, salad sad. Other meal was Chicken parm sandwich with Timmy G's cole slaw and was very good. Have eaten here before and have been pleased with food but this time should have sent back meal
Got the bacon burger and fries. So delicious! My burger was cooked to my specifications and the staff is really nice and friendly! Would highly recommend. I just wish they had a large place so they could fit more people, because during their busy times of day it can start to feel crowded.
The other local places I normally go when passing through were closed, but I was parked here already and saw lots of people going in, so I did as well.
I am gluten free so my options as always were limited.

Nice place for lunch. Food well prepared and hot. Coffee is fresh. My favorite is the potato soup, and they have a tasty assortment of sandwiches and wraps (for Californians). Service is very good and general atmosphere is friendly. Try them out next time you pass through Penn Yan.
Great food & Great service. Quiet atmosphere and relaxing! We were impressed with the menu and could not decide on our dinner because there were so many delicious looking items. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely choose this restaurant!
Valentine's Day lunch date with the hubby. Beautiful atmosphere. Fantastic food. Even heard out of towners behind us raving that "whoever's in the kitchen really knows what they're doing on everything we've had" My liver was cooked to perfection. As was my husband's fish fry. It was very busy when we showed up, and we had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was worth it for the food in Penn Yan. Our salads were fantastic and the service was prompt and polite. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Great food and attentive service! From starters to dessert you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend the tomato gouda soup, Cobb salad, Philly Cheese Steak and apple cobbler. Timmy and Tracy are the best!

Best steaks and prime rib in town. Friendly efficient staff. Tim the owner is very friendly and helpful. There specials on the menu are a surprise and very tasty. Lunch or dinner u can't go wrong at Timmy G's!!
Best meal I have had in forever! Had the Chicken French and my son had the Seafood Macaroni and Cheese. Both were phenomenal! Really loved it, not to be missed!
The Cobb salad is great, daily quiche specials, prime rib, local wines, great service. Something for everyone on the menu - even for the kids! They have a clean plate club and the kids get dessert included at a very reasonable price. Favorite with locals and visitors.
Nice variety of food choices at good prices. Great service. Was with a party of six and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. We all agreed we would highly recommend this place
