The food was delicious. I had the chicken and veg bowl. The veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. The rice and the chicken were flavored very nicely. My husband had the grilled salmon which he loved. The waitress was super friendly and the service couldn’t be better. We will definitely return and tell other family about it.

Husband and I went to the Humphrey House for the first time this past Wednesday. Our experience demonstrated the value of employees who have clearly been retained for many years and have a deep understanding of their profession. When we arrived the host informed us of a short wait, and delayed our seating so that the rest of the service team had time to “catch up”. This facilitated excellent service once we were seated. She remembered our name and checked in with us during our wait at the bar. She was friendly, personable, transparent, and informative. At the bar, we ordered a few drinks. The bar tender was perfect and graciously made the specific drinks we ordered. It was an easy and relaxed vibe. She was on point, and did not ruffle to the busy evening. Later in the night we would reorder these unique drinks by their generic names from our table with the busser. I did not expect our drink specifications to be remembered or considered- we were ok with the generic version. However, the bartender remembered the specifications without being told by the wait staff and personally brought them to our table. I was shocked at this level of service- exceptional and out of the ordinary. Our server was lively and knowledgable of the menu, but not over bearing. It was clear that she was very experienced and exceptional at her job. We were well attended and the food was very good. The menu was traditional with a few unique spins. The atmosphere was nice (if a bit worn), and the noise level was perfect- we did not struggle to have a conversation. Appetizers, drinks, and meals came in under $100 for two people. Excellent! However, as stated earlier, what made our experience exceptional was the service that we were provided. Employees with a deep knowledge base, unfazed by a busier than expected evening, who were invested in their roles, and had a high level of professionalism and knowledge. To the management of Humphrey House- retain these people at all costs. A team like this is impossible to find, exceptional at their profession, and because of their high level of service we will be back!

Best restaurant in penfield. I've come here since I was little girl for the clam bakes and now I'm a mom bringing my little one here! It is so nice to have a local place that cares about the quality of their ingredients and marrying flavors together in a perfect way. The chefs sister is the greatest waitress of all time, 5 star service for sure. Beautiful shaded patio, great prices. We are always happy to eat here :) thank you for being awesome

What a great restaurant! First time eating there, and it was a pleasure. The service was top notch, the staff was friendly (eye contact, smiles, joking around), our glasses were never empty, and they checked on us regularly, but not in an intrusive way. There was a minor mix up in the kitchen, so they have us a free appetizer as an apology. It was so refreshing to get great service, great food, at an affordable price. 10/10 Will definitely be back.

Inside looks really nice. We arrived early just as they opened Sunday evening on what was possibly the last warm day of summer so we decided to eat on the porch which was a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and top-notch. Service was nothing short of excellent. Can't wait to come here again and try the dining room.

I really enjoyed the Signatures experience. Not your typical menu fare. I had the short rib pot roast and it was very good. The roast was very tender with a lot of vegetables and mashed potatoes as well. Portion sizes are very generous. I don't usually have leftovers to take home but I was able to comfortably make 2 meals out of this. The staff were all very nice and attentive as well. If you are looking for something a little bit different then check out Sigantures at Humphrey House.

What a nice place. Our server was attentive an knowledgeable. Beer selection was good. Outside porch was delightful with a nice breeze. Too many great food choices. My dinner was delicious and ample. Brought some home with me. Dessert was the amazing. It was called something like S'mores bake. Baked marshmallows and crust with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge drizzle. Enjoy your dinner.
