The Bank was a really good lunch experience. The burgers were excellent! They were thick hamburger patties that were not perfectly round and flat(frozen) like is found at typical burger places. The patty melt was wonderful! The rye bread was perfect! It was moderately busy at lunch time and our server Chris went above and beyond with his service! The interior was not spectacular but it had that cozy small town restaurant feel. We will def go back and try some different menu items. They had several different offerings on their menu.
Man oh man, manager even made sure he came and talked us and talked to our kids like his family we loved the food and will be back based on that manager/ owner alone. Thanks for one of our best lunch’s in a long time.
First review of 2022 from your girl ExploringLane. Last night I explored a little town north of Indianapolis called Pendleton. I made a little withdrawal from an unforgettable quaint little restaurant called The Bank. I was smitten as soon as I walked in the door. The Bank has a classy fine dining look with a warm cozy feel. The staff are hospitable and engaging. The menu items are cleverly named with names such as: The Big Bank Deluxe Salad and my favorite, The Bank Robber Burger; all giving into to this incredible Bank them! I ordered the Little Porker (fried tenderloin). I swear and do declare I have never tasted a pork tenderloin quite like that. Just as the taste of the first bite began to settle on my taste buds the General Manager, Floyd, walked up to our table, pointed to me and said "she looks like she is in heaven." I confess!!! I was!!! I could stop there but only a slacker would. Of course I tasted the Bank Robber (a bacon cheeseburger topped with a crispy onion ring and a house bbq sauce). Yes, I tried the ham and bean soup and it was magically comforting lol. But before I ate I went to the ladies room to wash my hands and nearly died when I saw the Monopoly themed bathrooms! (y'all know how much I love Monopoly). I could go on forever but I'm going to wrap this up with a tip: Take 69N up to Pendleton, IN and DO NOT PASS GO, until you stop by The Bank and make a withdrawal! And that what was for dinner last night.
Loaded potatoes wedges were so delicious and fresh! My dad also loved the fish and chips!
My husband and I were having a very indecisive Friday night when we both finally landed on trying the Bank. I am so glad we did! This will probably be our new date night spot. We sat up at the bar and I had the Lock Pick to drink, it was delicious! We had cheese curds, the parmesan crusted flounder, and Texas BBQ dinner. I was all phenomenal!! Then on top of all the goodness we stuffed our faces with, the staff was amazing. We had multiple people beside just our waiter ask us if we needed anything, had questions, etc. This little local place is a 10/10
So I came into the Bank and was pleasantly surprised with how great my food was. Temperature was perfect on my fish and chips and o loved the dill tartar sauce. Staff was friendly and mindful of covid protocols. Cmon by this establishment and support a local business. I’ll be back.
I l o v e d my lunch yesterday at The Bank. I got potato wedges, the BEST I have ever had anywhere! Great job guys!! 🥰❤
