First visit was a good experience. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Service was pleasant and friendly ☺️. My only complaint is ignorance. My waitress was surprised that I spoke Spanish because I didn't look like her. Imagine that in 2023.
They also have excellent prices.

Food was less than average, and taste less. Steak pincho (kabob) was made of thin strip of meat, rolled to make it look like steak chunk. Fried tostones and ripe platain were good

The restaurant has a Latin feeling. The food is good, The service is good. I tried Hígado ala Italiana, it was so good!!! The leche con cafe( coffee and milk) was delicious!!!

Good food, decent prices. A little hectic atmosphere due to the restaurant being busy. Could be a little more organized. Overall good experience! Had the skirt steak and it was cooked as requested. Waitress was attentive and courteous. Their ropa vieja is also great!

Perfect Cuban food! So delicious! The meat was well cooked and the Media noche, so good! The waitress was nice and very attentive, La Carrera at Pembroke Pines is excellent

Excellent food!! I ordered the vaca Frita and a media noche sandwich. My wife ordered the Rabo encendido. For desert we ordered the natilla pudding. Absolute fire🔥🔥🔥

I love their food, just the service can be a little slow sometimes. I love their vaca frita and their lentil soup, although the last few weeks their lentil soup has been way too salty, but hopefully they'll see this review and it won't be too salty anymore, let's hope🤞🏽! Management/Chefs: please remember that we can always add salt, but we cannot take it out. Please take this as positive, constructive criticism.. thank you :)

Since Thanksgiving is not my holiday.... my family and I decided to buy a meal from La Carreta for holiday. The food was excellent as usual. There was one hiccup.. but they corrected the mistake... they gave me yucca instead of the maduros I ordered... as I stated it was corrected.

My colleague and I were in Miami for the JSU Vs FAMU game. Afterwards, he treated me to some authentic sit down Cuban food. This was my first time eating Cuban food and it was outstanding. I had the Churrasco Carretero, Cuban style. We agreed that this restaurant should do well in central Florida. Please reach out to Rafael Mendez CCIM and we can help make this happen. This place was recommended to us by a local friend. Really nice Cuban dishes, very friendly staff and really good prices for the quality and quantity of the dishes. We tried a chicken and a fish plate with great vegetable sides! Highly recommended.

Authentic Cuban food. We always go to LA Carreta every time we go to Flo. Great service, Croquetas, chicken cutler and ropa vieja, oxtail, lengua( cow tongue), lamb stew delicious.

The churrasco is as good as I remembered it. Haven’t been to one in over 6 years. The guayava and cheese pastry is great. Definitely come here!
