Cracker Barrel

I would have shared a full plate, but it disappeared so fast. The meatloaf was fabulous, mashed potatoes, carrots, fried okra, and cornbread. I was with friends and we had a good time. To the karen that needed to cause a scene, stay home next time and cook your own food, nobody else can seem to please you. 06/22 update: I don't know exactly what has happened. Inflation shrank the portions, staff turnover, whatever. The mashed potatoes have been underdone and LUMPY the last three times I ordered it, I didn't even get the bread I ordered with my last to-go order, and the lemonade was a smidge sour. Getting a bit disillusioned.

A neighbor and I went tonight. Anna was our waitress and was super sweet, nice, had a great personality, and remembered everything. We didn't have to ask for anything extra because she was on the ball. It's the first time I had been there in several months and was well pleased. Oh, and the food was awesome too. Fast forward to February 15, 2022. Still getting great service & food.

The waitress was nice but I'm about done with Cracker Barrels in general. We have to tell them multiple times to bring things like hot sauce,lemons butter etc. and they don't bring what you order. They ask how your meal was at the register and even if you tell them they didn't get your order right they say "sorry" and then charge you full price anyway. Why ask if you don't care? That our waitress messed up isn't what bothers me, it's that when I told her she didn't offer to bring me the missing item. Cracker Barrel is beginning to go down hill. What a shame.

The food was good but our server was not that good in my opinion. We had to ask him for rolls and then he brought it out with our food. It said he was 4 stars, idk how he got that but sure I guess. I just felt like he was trying to Clock out as fast as he could and he wasn't worried about his guests.
