their combination lotus salad was delish. it's rare that a resto srrves this. i enjoyed my meal there.
My family and I have been going here for years. First I use to go with my parents and now I go with my own family. I know they were bought, but the food has not changed much. There is more on the menu, but the main staples are available still. I always have a good experience, they know me and are always polite. The food is always consistent.
For years, I've looked for a Vietnamese restaurant with the same quality as the one near UH. I finally found one today called Thanh Phuong, and it even has the same chili lemongrass tofu that I loved.
The menu is vast and diverse, from Vietnamese staples and Chinese dishes. They even offer game options such as rabbit and venison. The food is very fresh and homemade flavors.
I took a party of ten to this establishment based on a recommendation. I called ahead for a reservation, but it was not required. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our table. I had the steak and brisket pho, and it was fantastic. Other members of the party had varying chinese plates and they all had no complaints. I would definitely go again.
This was our first time trying Thanh Phuong but definitely will not be our last as it was amazing. We had spring rolls, brisket pho & a banh mi. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great. We are already excited to try other dishes on the menu!

Service was good! My favorite was the salted fish and shrimp fried rice. I didn't care for the seafood flat noodles, it lacked flavor. The eggplant was delicious. However, the food did taste somewhat Americanized. But I'll definitely visit again for salted fish and shrimp fried rice since it's one of the best I tasted.
Drove 183 miles to enjoy the food and service
Food was amazing. It came with lots of large pieces and was very filling. The customer service was great and waiter would come back every once in a while to ask if refills were needed or if we’d want something else. The food came in fast. Overall great place to eat at.
We got some take out today of beef flat noodles and this tofu rice vermicelli. The tofu came with fried shallots and the salad separately so it was a bit do-it-yourself for covid times. But it makes it maintained good flavors. The tofu itself could have been seasoned more and I was hoping for a stronger lemongrass flavor. I also wanted more vinegar sauce for the noodles since it overall wasn’t tangy enough for me. The beef noodles made my husband happy, even if he is picky about the flavors. Best part is the huge portions.
Our favorite place. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. Favorites are the Vermicelli bowls, Vietnamese egg rolls, Pho, and sweet and sour chicken 🤤. They have everything, and it's always ready in 15 min.
Nice clean restaurant and friendly take out service. My family loves the food here. Great lunch specials.
