Mia's Cafe

Came in for brunch while I was on a quick trip to the area. Service was really good, food was as well. I got a simple breakfast, with a side of corned beef hash, coffee and a pineapple mango mimosa. All excellent. I enjoyed relaxing with my breakfast, reading the paper and not being rushed. Would definitely return if I'm in the area and recommend to others!

*Update - Finally got around to coming here for breakfast, and their Toad In A Hole is so friggin good. That bread alone (which they make on-site) is phenomenal. I’ve been twice for breakfast, and I can’t bring myself to try something different because the TIAH is so good! HIGHLY recommend! Original Review - I stopped in for a quick lunch by myself at Mia’s and really enjoyed it! I was seated and served promptly, and everyone was very nice. I ordered the clam chowder and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. They brought me my soup first and it was tasty. Nothing special, just normal clam chowder, though it was roughly the temperature of the sun. The sandwich was perfectly fried and juicy on the inside. The sauce they use is amazing. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place! The location is fantastic and the food was great quality for the prices they charge.

Cozy atmosphere on the river, quick service for a Sunday lunch. Food was delicious the pancakes were definitely made from scratch and were delicious. Good texture, not too sweet, and with perfect balance of tart from the blueberries. The home fries were soft and delicate but still maintained a solid form. Great spot for a lazy Sunday breakfast.
