I was on a bucket of this trip around Michigan. I knew I was going to go through Paw Paw and I found this great restaurant that served unbelievable perch. It was so good I had to go back next day and have it again. The fillets had to be 9 - 10 inches long and there was three of them in my dinner. The season potato wedges were so delicious.
They honestly completed my journey with such delicious perch dinner. I found their website and praised them for it.
All through my journey I ordered Perch if they had it on the menu and I was so disappointed at all the restaurants I went to except for theirs. I would go back to Paw Paw just for the perch dinner. Kudos to the owner and the employees. Whoever buys this restaurant ( it's up to sale ) do not change it one bit. They have a great clientele.
A year ago I stopped here and swore I’d never come back. Dirty tables, dirty walls, dirty bathroom, rude employees. I’m not sure why I came back, convenience probably, but I’m sure glad I did. Everything has changed for the better. Polite employees, good hot food, clean tables clean floors clean walls clean bathrooms, I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you to paw paw chicken coop employees and management. Good job !!

Unfortunately I live hand to mouth and barely have enough money from day to day to make it and on the rare occasions that I decide to splurge and have a piece of fish and the chicken coop then I can only afford one piece. The Marvelous thing about this Chicken Coop restaurant is the fact that if I order one piece I usually get one and a half or two pieces. And that is something that I will never forget and will always praise them for because some of it's just don't have the money that the rest of the world has even though I feel like I worked extra hard through my life and feel like I should have it it's just not in the cards for me to be as wealthy as some. I love this Christian establishment because they really make a person feel important and special even though deep down inside we know or just another human being trying to get what we can get. This chicken coop is extra special. Thank you for keeping your employees in the know so that they give a little extra to people like me who just really need the help. I love PawPaw Michigan

It took awhile to get through drive through but our food was fresh n hot. Clams n fish. Chicken coop is the bomb. !! Ours has been closed for some time. Miss it
I love this place! Their chicken is very good, but their fish is off the charts. The dining room is open again after covid. Like all fried foods, if you get it fresh and take it 15 minutes to home, it's not as good. That's why I eat it at the Coop. Sides are good too. I like the Cole slaw a lot. Can't go wrong. Friday night they have all you can eat fish. Belly up to the bar boys!
I've been here twice now. Satisfied both times. The chicken breast tenders are worth every penny. Only down side is I wish the sides were a little more.
The chicken tenders were as good as I've had them......but no one is in any hurry in there.
The lady at the window was friendly and talkative, I had the 3 piece fish ( original batter) this time and mashed potatoes and gravy, and Mac n cheese. Their fish is better than before, it was all delicious. Ordered the popcorn chicken and it was very good. They have improved on faster device and faster food. Great job and great food..⭐ theAlways friendly, kind and courteous. They really need to step up with the fish, I got the lightly battered and the fish was non-existent. It's so thin you can see through the batter and skin of the fish no meat what so ever. Everything else is really good though.
