Iron & Wine Restaurant

We have gotten takeout several times, and tried many different dishes, and we have always enjoyed their food. This past weekend, we held a baby shower there and everything was perfect. First, let me say that Tom was great throughout all the planning. He was very accommodating and patient with us as we were making decisions related to what we would be serving to the guests. On the day of the shower, he allowed us to arrive two hours prior to the start in order to decorate. His staff were very helpful and very professional throughout the day. All the food was excellent, as we had expected. We have received many positive comments about the food (both in taste and quantity) from our guests. Several who live in the area said they plan on returning to have dinner. We can’t give enough positive feedback about the time that we had this past weekend, and we are so thankful we chose to use Iron and Wine to host the event.

The food was okay… based on the other reviews I’m sure this was a one off. Honestly, Heather made us feel really unwelcome from the moment we walked in. She sat us down and ignored us for the better part of the evening. Our table was confused by her service, she gave us one drink menu to share with 6 people half an hour after being seated, didn’t really check up on us or take plates away between courses. Gave us appetizers at different times and just came off as unneccissarily unfriendly. We were there for three hours… waiting for food, drinks, and the bill. There have been busier places with better service. Being busy is understandable but we were completely ignored. This review would of been completely different if it weren’t for heather.

This was our first time coming here and we were blown away! The menu was creative and so many options! We got the sticky jerk ribs that were outstanding and a gnocchi dish with burata cheese served right the the cast iron it was baked in! Our server was very helpful, knowledgable and attentive despite having a “full house”!! I do wish they had more dessert options but we will defiantly be coming back!!!

Iron and wine restaurant offers a dish for everyone. Each plate is purposefully seasoned to perfection. If you enjoy a bland meal this is not the place for you. The restaurant offers quality dishes , great service and savoring flavors that are difficult to forget. In the summer you will have the opportunity to dine outdoors with a beautiful view. Indoor dining offers a nice trendy casual vibe that also gives you the feeling of having a hells kitchen chef cooking for you with warmth and passion in your own home. Strolled in last night at about 4:00 and was a little scared at first because the parking lot was empty. But after I went inside and saw how clean and well taken care of everything was I gave this place a shot. OMG this is by far the best places in northern putnam county. The bartender made my drink perfectly the owner/head chef was super friendly and all the food had a culture diverse menu. That was perfect this is a gem of a restaurant and I will be returning with a bunch of friends 5/5
