Great place the parking lot is small and there is street parking but once inside the food and service are worth it. There are only a few tables to dine in.

This is my favorite traditional NY style pizza place in the area. I love the sauce/cheese ratio and the crust is always perfectly crisp. I like their Caesar salad and our whole family shares the penne ala vodka every time we order.

Long time resident. Been to every other local place, but Alvarez Pizza by far blows them away. From the Pizza to the food and the people. By far the best!! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

I really wish I could give this place more stars. Everything I’ve eaten here is absolutely Incredible and I lived in Italy for 3 years. The whole team is so nice, I’m so happy to have found the best pizza in NY!

First time at Alvarez and I have to say they are the real deal. We had fantastic pizza and service. I picked up a grandma pie and the crust was the perfect mix of crispy and chewy, the sauce had a little sweetness to it but it was nicely seasoned and balanced well with the garlic. The cheese was excellent. And to top it all of the price was very reasonable. No pretentious boutique pizza shop pricing here. 10/10 we will back for sure.

Some people do not realize this location is / has been under new management which translates to fresh ingredients, great taste, attentiveness, and friendliness. These guys have an awesome product to offer and are willing to customize your order! Also a great grab-and-go lunch special!
