Hook Gulf Coast Cuisine

We went to Hook for the first time today. I have been seeing all their tasty food on Facebook and had to try it. I got the tasso encrusted tripletail on cheddar cheese grits with a creole cream sauce. It was amazing! Julie had the blackened shrimp tacos and they were delicious too! Topped it off with a little bread pudding to take home. I will definitely be back!

Always good and when we went it was quite busy. The food was delicious as always. Wish I would have gotten some Key Lime pie but didn't this time. Its made in house and absolutely fantastic! Parking lot is a little small but I have a small car so I have no issues. If you drive a full sized truck you may have to wiggle yourself in especially if another full sized truck is parked in the lot. The parking shares with the surrounding businesses and if anything is the biggest negative about the place. The staff are very professional and courteous. Cheers 🍻

The place was crowded, probably because the food is so good. Our waitress was extremely busy but managed to take good care of us and remain cheerful. I had the grilled salmon served over spinach and it was excellent. The dinner salad was exceptional, with a variety of very fresh veggies. The bread pudding had an amazing sauce, generously applied. We will be back soon.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food here. Just went for a lunch outing while on travel. Very pleasant time. The food order (fish tacos) was definitely on point & prepared as it was ordered and the hostess was very personable & friendly! Parking lot is a little small, I believe the parking is shared with the surrounding businesses. Highly recommended!

We arrived for a late lunch for three. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was almost full with an additional large party in the back room. We ordered some of the truffle fries and they were really good. Twice fried, tasty and plentiful. We had po-boys, tacos and a salad. Overall the service was a little slow but the food was all very well presented, tasty and hot. The atmosphere is laid back and very much Gulf Coast casual. We will definitely be going back! I highly recommend this place! We went on a fishing trip in the morning and brought our fish to this restaurant and they fixed them for us 3 different ways! I'm telling you it was amazing! All the food that we ordered was fantastic! It was the best seafood we had on our trip to the gulf! They were very courteous and helpful!
