Old fashion looking diner with healthy food great service good seating in a really nice part of town with hog benches outside and flowers.
The food was excellent, and very good quality and well priced.
One of the best best breakfast places I’ve eaten at in a long time even outside of Paso Robles!
The standouts are the sides. The cornbread with honey butter. Two homemade muffins?! I want more cornbread...it was that good. Also I'd throw in that side of waffle - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. If you order a kids pancake you'll get a surprise creation.
My husband and I ordered their Eggs Benedict and Chicken Fried Steak with a mango mimosa and a bloody maria. Big portions and Everything was so delicious and perfectly seasoned! I can't wait to come back for more! Highly recommend for breakfast if you're in this area!
We were looking for an easy inexpensive lunch and saw this place pop up in our search. I'm gluten-free and my husband is vegetarian, so finding easy options is sometimes a challenge. But this place was perfect! I got a patty melt with gluten free bread, and my husband got the veggie pesto melt. He s
Street parking only. The place was clean and organized. The staff greeted me right away. She was very helpful and friendly. Love their spinach jalapeño omelet. The pastrami sandwich was somehow a little bit too greasy.
Had a wonderful breakfast here! Trout and eggs, cooked perfectly. Husband had the homemade Corned Beef Hash and loved it. Cornbread with honey butter was so moist and tasty. I'll be back again!
Excellent breakfast! It's hard to get safe gluten-free food at restaurants and this place is very careful with their preparation. I really appreciate it, and the Mimosa was awesome! <3
Doing something right to be in business since 1942. Big portions of what my wife calls, "Down home southern cooking."
Service was pleasant and when I mentioned I ordered a biscuit with my meal instead of toast they promptly discounted my bill since my meal was done already.
Amazing diner. Attentive staff. Happy atmosphere. Vintage themed. Great food! Came here on my work lunch and would love to come back frequently
Really wonderful gluten-free experience. They keep a separate dedicated toaster & serve GF bread with individually wrapped butter to prevent cross-contamination. My avocado had a couple brown spots that probably should've been cut off, but otherwise all the food was just absolutely delicious, with l
This one is a downtown favorite, they keep their prices down which brings in a lot of retirees and locals. Good food.
14$ for a giant serving of crispy home fries and scramble....goat scramble-ie goat cheese....very good simple food....a lot of choices....sides....drinks....alcohol!
Friendly service....I'd go again
Amazing service and delicious food in a old town cafe atmosphere.
If you are deciding between Brunch and Vic's, definitely choose Vic's. So friendly and kind people work there. Bonnie our server was very helpful. My hubby asked for Pico de Gallo ( mexican salsa) with his eggs. ( He loves to eat sa
Nice, downhome cafe. Mediterranian omlette was delicious and well stuffed. The photo shows my take home with more than half the omlette and hash brown potatoes. Breakfast/dinner in the works.
I will return here.
Vic's has been around since the dawn of time!
If you want a home cooked meal like meatloaf or open faced turkey sandwich, this is the place to go.
The staff is always welcoming and personable. Makes you feel like you're going to mom's house for dinner. My kids also love eating here, the menu caters
Stopped for breakfast nice clean good service give the lady a big tip for the excellent service
This is a diner that can make a few items gluten-free and is very careful not to cross contaminate while doing so. The food is also great.
