This place is awesome. We stopped here to break up a long drive and had a pleasant experience. We bought a ton of chocolates and had some sandwiches as well. All of it was great! There is tons to look at in here, lots of jams and sauces and pickled goods. This is a great place to get gifts or unique snacks. Overall it was a very unique experience.
This place is a must stop for anyone traveling through the Tri Cities. We stopped here in back-to-back summers and it made the long drive to northern Idaho totally worth it. There's so much delicious local produce to choose from. There's so many delicious sandwiches to choose from as well as fudge, salsa, tamales, shakes etc. The only issue is not buying too much from the merc on your drive.
This is only the BEST place on the planet! Honestly when I go in here everything is so good that I don’t even look at the price 😅 prob not good for my wallet butttt it’s that good! I love getting a box of assorted truffles and other random favourites but I also stock up on the chocolate bars that they have by the caramel apples. They are the smoothest chocolates I’ve ever tasted. Refreshing apple cider, and my other favorite part of the store is the fresh fruits they always have! Depending what season but best peaches I’ve ever tried was here, amazing cantaloupes, and just apples are yummy. Not to mention that also have a cutie gift shop that I got a souvenir from they have very unique items. You gotta stop by this place! Or you’ll be missing out!
Such a nice place. Great food and prices surprised me how lower they were. Rare chocolate cover cherries. I always see strawberry but never cherry and it was fantastic. I would recommend stopping and getting as many snacks as possible
Decent price on food and good flavor. Their candy they make is way overpriced, but this place is a must stop and see. Very fun store and a large variety of stuff.
I love this place the food at the counter is really out standing. They are very nice and helpful. There is all kinds of stuff to get fresh and there sauce section is out standing. A little on the spendy side but really worth every penny.
This place is huge!!!! The variety of jams, salsas, butters, etc! The chocolate is weighed by pound so you can mix and match. Love the chocolate covered oreos and peanut butter chocolates!
Nice clean place to eat lunch, have fresh made ice cream, purchase fresh fruit in the back room, shop all the specialty canned jar foods, shop the art deco room or over in the chocolate portion, CHOCOLATES MADE FRESH AS YOU WATCH!!! What more could you ask for? My grand kids call it the candy shop because there are so many chocolates to choose from.
The bathrooms are big and clean. And in nice weather there is outside eating too!
Love this place! Awesome variety of food, dessert, and gifts! They also have the BEST salsa ever.
The Country Mercantile is a wonderful smaller local business. They have lots of chocolate, sweets, and candy made in house. Lots of sauces, syrups, breads and pastas as well. Farm fresh produce when in season. We’ve never gotten anything from the Country Mercantile that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. We always try to stop when we’re passing through.
I love this place.has the best chocolates, really good produce, great place for ice cream. So much variety in everything. The bathrooms are always spotless. I havent tried their lunch menu items but they do look good! I only stop here when I travel to the Tri-cities. Can't wait to go again.

Omg! It's so pretty and clean. I wanted everything. I turned into a little girl walking into a candy store. I also ordered a prime rib dib. That was DELICIOUS!!! IT'S WORTH THE STOP AND LOOK.
We always stop when we pass through.
The sandwiches! So worth the stop.
Best I've had pretty much anywhere in my travels. Don't want a sandwich? They have a ton of other options. Take a break from the drive, stop in and relax for a bit. I don't shop but my wife likes to. You can do both here. Bathrooms are clean.
Staff is friendly and helpful. 👍👍👍
Absolutely a great place to stop. Fabulous chocolate, food and everyone is so nice. Nice big lot for truck parking.
A good lunch stop - with a large variety of food-stuffs, such as made-to-order sandwiches, locally grown produce, sauces, salsas, and jams. They also have an impressive chocolates & candies section, (I've heard good things so maybe next time). I tried their garlic salsa and went through the tub pretty quick - it is good. Most of their stuff has little to no preservatives and is less processed than what you find at a supermarket. I've heard from multiple people that their ice cream is great too. Nice & helpful staff, good atmosphere - a fun place to stop with friends or family.
What a great place to find food, candy, gourmet sauces, jams, bread, ice cream, gifts, fruit and veggies and more. It is a great stopping place heading north and ultimately west and east after reaching the Columbia River. I stop every time I head north to Spokane/Idaho and west to Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR.
They ALWAYS have the best selection of goodies in the Mercantile, from chocolate covered Oreos to salt water taffy! Best place to bring the kids and take a breather! Entry fees $10.95/person +tax Mon-Fri, Saturday and Sunday $11.95/person +tax
Fun stop that we have been going to for years.
Food is good and fast.
Help is friendly and efficient.
The candy selection is "Huge"
Lots of choices for other items as well.
The produce selection was not bad for later in the season.
