This place is the pizza gem of Pasadena. Friendly family owned business. YES, they know pizza like no one else. Best NY style pizza this side of the Rocky Mountains. Do yourself a favour and grab a slice. After you eat that you'll order a whole pie to go. I kid you not, worth every penny.

I love this kind of pizza, a little bit of grease, crunchy crackly crust, soft even crust underneath the toppings...you can equally taste the sauce through the cheese..its very good and I don't feel all lethargic, nappy etc after 2 slices...seating is mostly standing up outdoors so that's another fun thing about the place, nice vibe.stop in grab some 'za, coffee next door and you're on your way, They sell whole pizzas too but I have only done slices so far.... I remember being in Italy and they served a pizza like this as the appetizer.. its perfect,,not too heavy and not too light...only thing I'd change is I would ask for extra cheese and pepperoni..(that's a personal preference though) Hits the spot and Joe and Erica are totally cool! and Joe is a former AYSO 214 Player so I am a bit biased..;-) from Maurice Saldebar, AYSO214 Regional Commissioner
When I find a great pizza place that would survive in NY and better than the tourist trap Rays Original I have to rate. The Sicilian pie was amazing. Perfect crust, tasty and right portions. Pick up yourself or have them deliver. Uber Eats and other delivery the pie comes barely warm. Just an FYI.
Right next to Jones coffee, there’s a little pizza shop called pie life. This place is counter service only with a couple outdoor seats. Slices are five dollars each. By the slice, their pizza is incredible extremely crispy. Ny style with a very pillowy crust - just how I like my pizzas. Their larger pies are good, but they don’t make it as good as the slice. I think if they made as much effort making each slice in the box crispy, then this place would easily be my favorite pizza place.

Best thin N.Y. style pizza in Pasadena. They sell whole or by the slice. I recommend the Thursday special call Lasagna pizza.
Wow 🤩 Our first time go there my husband friend told us to go to Pie Life Pizza 🍕 it’s was delicious 😋 I can eat more haha 😄
New York–style pizza thin crust. Our favorite is PBJ ha yup PBJ is Pepperoni Bacon Jalapeño so Delicious 🤤 Definitely go there again soon 🤩
It's utility grade NYC slice pizza in Pasadena. Which is to say, very authentic. But the authentic thing, while of course perfect and delicious after a hard night of drinking, isn't actually that great. I did like it though, and the price is great, just like the authentic thing. I consider it more of an exercise in a cultural experience.
2 slices and a soda for $10.50. Cute little spot with a walk up window. The Margherita had beautifully thin melt-in-your-mouth slices of tomato. The White was a little dry in comparison but still pretty tasty. It was definitely worth the stop.
This is my family’s favorite pizza place in terms of taste, quality ingredients, service, and value. We usually get half tomato basil and half bbq chicken pizza, and that feeds 2 adults and 3 kids. There is an outside tent seating shared with Jone’s coffee, which is another local favorite and must try. Always a pleasant experience here and can’t wait to come back.
Amazing quality pizza. Low grease, generous toppings, even a perfect scent. Honestly, the best thin crust pizza I've had in LA.
