Today I learned how to eat Shabu Shabu, the right way! The owner took the time to sit with us and gave us a lesson on how to order and prepare it. We loved it! This may be my new fave stop. 💕 Here’s what to do: 1. Order your base. We tried Yellow Curry, Spicy Kimchi & Sukiyaki 2. Prepare your dipping sauces. We like it 🌶 3. Order your meats & vegetables for cooking 4. While the base is heating up and they bring out your meat, order a few appetizers 5. Don’t forget to try a Japanese 🍺 6. Meat comes out and you cook! Just dip it and move it back and forth until meat turns brown, 3-4 sec for medium cooked. Cook longer for pork. 7. Either dip cooked meat in sauces or add it to your rice. 8. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, like this Tempura Banana with Green Tea 🍵 Ice Cream 🍨 💲19.99 for Lunch AYCE, is they also have an awesome happy hour!

Very good Japanese hot pot. They cut the meat into slices in front of you. At weekday lunch, all you can eat is $19.99. I love the beef, pork in kimchi base. If you don't want the all you can eat,the lunch special with one meat at 10.99 still is a good choice.

Had literally the best time last night at Tokyo Shabu Shabu with my friends, and Darren the manager was the most amazing host! All the food and ingredients are fresh and everything was so good it was hard to pick my favorite!! Here is what we tried and what I highly recommend ordering: For starters: tokyo wings are a MUST!!! Also loved their squid kaarage, pork gyoza and shumai. All come with tasty dipping sauces as well! Can't go wrong either with some freshness from the cucumber salad and edamame too. For main plates: we tried almost the whole menu haha!! I think my favorite was the short ribs (the marbling on that meat was stunning)! The chuckeye and kurobuta pork were also table favorites as well. If you prefer seafood, their mixed seafood plate comes with salmon, white fish, shrimp, oysters and kamaboko (Japanese ground fish). For flavored broths: my absolute favorite was the sukiyaki, especially when cooking the short rib (*drool*). For a kick, try out the spicy kimchi which was also a table favorite. For pork dishes, the Tonkotsu broth is a perfect pairing, and for seafood I would suggest spicy tom yum. Dipping sauces: my god I love a good dipping sauce, and Darren showed us how to make them right! My absolute favorite was the goma dare which is a house made sesame sauce. Mix that with garlic, green onion, chili powder and chili oil and you have the makings for one of my favorite sauces quite possibly EVER! The ponzu dare was also perfect for veggies too. To finish your meal off, treat yourself to some peach sake and green tea ice cream.. you won't be sorry :) thank you Darren and TSS for such a fun and amazing meal!

All You Can Eat Hot Pot 😍 start with choosing your base with a wide variety including vegetarian options! Pick various cuts of beef, chicken or pork which are all phenomenal. I personal prefer the wagyu beef just the right amount of fat and oh so very tender! Various vegetable are offered or try the mixed vegetables platter if you want a little of everything. I always like to order their sweet potato fries cause their dipping sauce is BOMB. Don't forget to get your free soft drink by liking their Facebook page and showing the server. Downside of this place is that it can get filled pretty fast and the wait times can be long :(

Good lunch special - 10.99 including beverage. I think for this price meat quality is actually not bad. However the table was really dirty when I first sat down ( you can see from my empty pot I hadn't started cooking at all but there's sauces marks next to pot left by last customer) and the staff didn't seem to care at all. Service was also slow I had to ask where my food was coming out after sitting down for 20 mins and apparently it was ready just no one remembered to bring them out. Restroom was not clean either.
