Got a mix of different tacos, everyone liked like them! I took off 1 star because the red salsa that is provided is really not good at all, it's watery, no flavor and chunky. Even Pace salsa would be a better alternative. I will definitely try them again and see if they have other options for salsa.

They have a sign that says “Best tacos in town”, and they aren’t lying. This has been our favorite place to get breakfast tacos to date. It’s literally all we ever get.
We’ve only eaten in once, and the service was pretty bad. Long wait and it honestly felt like they forgot about us. From then on I just call in my order and pick it up.

Today was my first time going and I absolutely loved it! First off the people there are so sweet and the place is covered in Astros decor 💖! The breakfast tacos were delicious and freshly made including the flour tortillas. 😋

Great place to stop. I had a very large order and the owner gave me her cell phone number to call ahead next time for a faster experience. Everyone loved the food. The tortillas were hand made.

I tried Taco express on a friends recommendation. I have been there twice in two days. The food is amazing!! Of I could give 10 stars, I would. Home cooked goodness can not be faked.
The arroz con pollo or fideo is just impeccable and the refried beans are awesome.
Breakfast plates are large and priced at $5 or less. Home made tortillas and drinks....do yourself a solid and go.

These tacos we're pretty darn good... Took a minute for mines but I wasn't sure if they were pre- prepared like some are, but boy that freshly made taste was fantastic Rachel and Mike own a very home feeling restaurant, and I greatly appreciate the love put into they're food!

Found this yummy gem that serves up the best homestyle Tex-Mex! We just moved back to Texas about six months ago. After being gone for 15 yrs. So missed all the good food! Have visited a few restaurants that have been suggested and sadly, we have been disappointed! The food and atmosphere at Taco Express are the real Tejano experience! Love their menu and great prices! The restaurant is decorated with Houston Texans memorabilia, with a little Astros and Rockets memorabilia, also. Oh and the Tejano music blasting! Well not too loud, but the tunes were sweet music to my ears. They were a little busy and service could have been faster, but not a big deal. Especially when you are getting good food. We will be frequent customers.

While this was bit of a walk frim Belmond Charleston place hotel, it was absolutely worth it. The menu was unique and execution was flawless. We had two fish courses as main dish and each was a celebration of taste. The creativity alone is something not to be missed. The dessert eith passion fruit was zesty and unexpectedly nice. Our waitress was knowledgeable and genuine which accentuated the entirety of a good culinary experience. Nice dining room as well, small, well sectioned so it doesnt get too loud, with a classy decor.

Service sucks we’ve been going here for years, if Rachel isn’t there the other servers suck. Charged me $1.50 for stale burnt cold chips (I was okay with the charge) asked the girl for fresh ones put them in microwave and still old. Foods delicious 😋 service SUCKS!

It was my first time there and the menudo was delicious. The homemade lemonade was delicious. It was pretty high I spent $38 for one large menudo, medium menudo and 4 large lemonades. But I will be going back for more good food.

Worst service ever.... Took about 15 minutes too take our order then took 45 minutes too get our food which didn't come all at the same time... Found a hair in my food and my husband was very dissatisfied with his food... Will never eat here again
