I always sit in Betty's section and she knows what I like. She's not just my server, she's also a friend.
I've been eating at Monterrey's for 55 years. Hope to enjoy many more.

Good food, but I hated watching 2 servers argue over who was going to serve me. My glass of tea went back and forth between them like a hot potatoe.. That should never happen in front of a customer. The manager was right there too and didn't even stop it. I just wanted my tea!

Haven't been here in a while.and decided to try it out again. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and restaurant was clean. Customer service was pretty good. Waitress kept checking on us to see if we needed anything.

My family's favorite place! Always great food and service! Very decent prices! The environment is always comfortable. Which is why my family is very sad to hear a rumor circulating that you might be closing the doors soon. 😢 I hope that's just a rumor. We love this place!

Great food ! A Pasadena Landmark! I have been coming here for years. A lot of the staff have been here for 15+ years. Dine in a very colorful , take out is hot and fresh. Coloring activities for kids.

Not the stuffed avocado I was expecting but definitely amazing!! There really is a half avocado under all the veggies, fajitas, and cheese.
Restrooms were clean! Staff was friendly!! Great experience and highly recommend it!

The service here is always great. The food comes out quickly and accurately. I am trying to stay away from fried foods, and had asked if I could have the stuffed chicken breast grilled instead of fried and they had no problem with that.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was hot and fresh not to mention very tasty. Price's are very reasonable. It was cool outside so the heat was on, which seemed too hot for me but my wife said the temperature was fine. The place is an older restaurant so if your looking for something new and up to date with that hip style this is not your place, but if your looking for good Tex-Mex cooking try them out. I like this place. Also another plus....... they are clean.
