Very good! The owner was very kind, and engaging. He told us the food could take a while as there were many people. But the food came out within 15 min.
We loved the korean food here because it wasn't super flavorful(not americanized). The service was very good. The staffs were trying to care about all customers as much as they could, although they were busy.
We'd love to visit again!!!
We enjoy this restaurant very much. We fully recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Korean food.
Great service, the staff goes the extra mile to make sure you get the best possible experience.
Excellent place for Korean BBQ in New Jersey. They really guide you through the process and make it effortless. Usually you are cooking the meat yourself but at this restaurant they are very attentive and do everything for you. We had a nice large booth towards the back of the restaurant which had dividers for privacy. We ordered the marinated meats not spicy BBQ. There was enough food for at least 3 to 4 ppl so don't let the prices scare you. The bbq meats come with the typical Korean side dishes which can fill you up . We also ordered a soup which we were able to divide 3 ways. We had a group of 9 and only ordered 2 grilled meats platters.
First time to eat here today and will definitely come back. The food is excellent and authentic. Plenty of choices. John, manager, provides excellent customer service. He makes sure we are happy with the service and food. We like their Kimchi and bought some to go. The ambience is relaxing. The restaurant is very clean. We highly recommend this Korean restaurant.
We had our first Korean BBQ here. The food was amazing, and the service was equally amazing. Our server/chef/ambassador was patient, friendly, and helpful. He charmed our daughters into trying just about everything, to their delight and ours. A five star experience.
First time being at a Korean BBQ and oh boy was it and experience. They are very welcoming and patient, the reason I say this is because I’ve never been to a Korean BBQ and I was asking a lot of questions. To some it can be silly but I genuinely didn’t know.
The food was top tier even if I do say so myself, we had bulgogi and short rib meat that was sizzled on the little bbq stand they had built into the table which was so cool. They had multiple side dishes that accompanied the bbq, which were very tasty and mouthwatering. The radish kimchi was my favorite it was like regular kimchi but with a touch of sweetness. The scallion pancake was absolutely delicious, I didn’t know those pancakes were so yummy.
I always wondered what authentic Korean BBQ and experience would be like but this blew it out of the water. The service was excellent as well, I can’t say the server’s name because I would butcher it😅😅all I know it’s something with a J😉.
I will definitely be returning to try more items on their menu, it was a wonderful experience and I encourage anyone to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. Different cultures bring different foods with new founding taste buds😋😋😋.
This was my first time at an authentic korean bbq resturaunt where the server cooks the meats for you. Our server, I believe was the manager and he was so nice. Since this was a new experience for my sis and I he explained everything on the menu. What is most popular for regular patrons and what is popular in Korea. He also introduced us to milkis, yogurt carbonated soda.... amazing! Also they sell korean snacks and drinks. The restaurant also offers bibimbop, korean hot pot (enough for 2-3ppl) and a large selection of drinks. My sis and i are going back to try more on the menu.
Staff was super attentive and patient. A definite must go.
We are visiting a friend in USA, and we've never been in Korean restaurant (in our country-Serbia, we haven't got Korean restaurants). It was amazing! Food, atmosphere, service... Everything. Food is healthy, tasty, rich, cannot compare to any other Asian food we have tried (Chinese, Japanese, Thai). Mr Jean was so warm, kind and welcoming, explaini g us every dish we ordered and teaching us not only about the food, but about the Korean culture as well. We were enjoying every moment. We've been to many restaurants in Jersey and NYC, some of them very luxurious, but this was definitely the best. Wonderful experience! We'll come back again for sure! Warm recommendations for everyone!
I introduced my kids to Korean BBQ here! The food was great! Service was good! Keo Ku was so good that my kids went back the next day for more! Highly recommend it.
Food and service was amazing! Make sure to order the marinated meat platter. John the restaurant manager was fantastic. He broke down each dish and even explained some of the Korean culture. Brought fresh herbs from the restaurant garden that went fantastic with the food. 10/10 recommend
The food and side dishes are very high quality! I was so happy I chose Keo Ku to introduce my parents to Korean food. I had lived in Korea for five years, but my parents never had the chance to visit. The Gobdol Jaeyuk Bibimbap was a standout for us. We also enjoyed the fried Mandu (dumplings). Excellent atmosphere and very kind/attentive staff.
Radish kimchi SO GOOD. The main dishes were fine, not exceptional. Pork was very fatty and not a great cut. But the side dishes were all very fresh and tasty. Glass noodles were very good. The *chicken* bibimbap was worth the extra few bucks!
Food was not great. I like the way they explained each and every food. Taste was not up to my standards
My family and I came here this past Sunday night. There were 4 of us, two of us celebrating a birthday plus a new job, and we got the korean BBQ and the beef hot pot. The food was great, and the service was wonderful! The manager Jean cooked the food for us personally, walking us through each dish, answering any questions we had, and helping us enjoy the food the way its meant to be enjoyed, and it was great! Thank you so much Jean for the amazing service from me and my family! Highly recommend!
Great food! We had the gamjajeongol and it was authentic, just like Korean food you would have in Korea but with larger meat portions in America. All of the side dishes were delicious and well prepared. I will definitely visit again.
From Juan + Brian to the wait staff and support everyone here made our experience tonight memorable. A manager and owner with a passion that they carry out to folks throughout the night, and the amazing food made my wife and I very happy. I cant suggest this place enough. The whole experience was very good from start to finish. Thank you Keo Ku! We will 100% be coming back.
First time here for a weekend family lunch, beyond expectations, authentic Korean cuisine, great service with smile, budae jjigae is expensive $50, other dishes like tofu soup and jajangmyeon are amazing, around $18 each, will come back to try bbq next time.
